Look to the origins.

Quick, someone check EA's Origin store for stuff....

This makes me think that Maskies origins lie at the end of the tunnel. In the dark, so to speak. This would also explain why Timmytims didn't want Jay to go in there, because he subconsciously knew something bad happened there.

Ignore this if it's been said before.

yes they lie not in the way of lying but lying,so stop talking about potential liars.. Smile

also i need to point out that i really hate made up words like "timnesia" or "troseph" and even worse "trospehim",but that wont probably stop anyone from using these..would it kill you to refer to the producers as THEM or THESE MOTHAFUCKAZ or to write tim's amnesia?but have it your way, unfiction Laughing

I think we're taking the line with "lies" a bit too literally, try to think more about this. Lies has two definitions, and out of all the theories I've seen so far, I'm thinking Nimble is on to something here. The origin of Masky might be at the end of the tunnel, that's the vibe I'm getting from rewatching the video. Props to you, Nimble.

Like any of us would want to have Origin on our system.

I'm still going with TTA trying to tell Tim to stop being a derptard and go watch the entries from the beginning. Seriously, he only got through maybe like 20 entries, going backwards from the current season 3 entries. You know minus the one with the fight where he says he found the youtube channel. :V

Which are all coincidentally within the bounds of 1-26 for letters, but a direct substitution gives you:

SLHEDAHINTIERKSI

Unless that's the sound Slendy makes when he sneezes, it's not what we're looking for.

A word scramble maybe?

I already ran it through everyone's favourite web based anagram server and it came up with nothing.

I think there's a number hidden behind the distortion at the end.

It could only be 1-9 and therefore be letters A-I

What if we re-anagramed with the new letters.

You know, people keep saying this. I'm not sure I buy it. The most likely thing I could see Tim doing is watching the most recent one (which would have been #57 or #58 I guess) then starting from #1.

What's your reasoning behind thinking he only saw recent ones?

The number "199" is perfectly centered with the other numbers that appear before. Furthermore, the solution obtained by pairs of letters fit perfectly and I think it is an impossibility that this is accidental.

Well, there's some noteworthy things from season one and early season two that he didn't mention, that could have possibly made him more sympathetic to J, such as J's timeloss, the attack of the Operator in 26, and stuff like that. In fact, the only reference IIRC in 59 that could give us an idea of how many he watched was when he said that J just met Jessica a few times in a hotel, so yeah, it's real buggy. Of course, there's also nothing to say that he watched them in a linear fashion; he could have just chosen ones at random, already way too infuriated to concentrate on such things as order.

Even, under the circumstances, I think it would be more normal:
Find the channel and watch the last video. "But, but ... what is this shit?"
Finish the video and click a video featured the same channel, go up the tone of voice and words and continue browsing the videos as well.
Here are 59 videos and presumably he would not have intended to see them all, much less ... with anger could see random videos.

Well, Stanislav had said that already.

Look to the origins... look to the origins...

It's just a thought, and I'm not even sure how much I think it's the most possible or not, but what about Entry 38? That's the unlabeled tape where Alex is talking to Jay about the history of the area in the forest, with the bodies in the trees and such. That was the first thing that popped into my head. With the most recent mystery sprung forth upon us, I don't know how this could possibly tie into anything though.

Another thought I had was, what if "truth with light" was specifically speaking to Tim, telling him that if he can solve this whole mystery that is Marble Hornets, maybe his mental issues would cease? Like a sort of "the truth will set you free, bring you into the light" kinda thing?

I wonder, How can TTA directing videos for Tim when he, supposedly, just found out recently the existence of MH youtube channel?

Okay, here's the thing:

Take the pairs, and split them up
19 12 - 8 6 - 4 1 - 8 9 - 14 20 - 9 5 -18 11 -19 9

Alphasub:
SL - HE - DA - HI - NT - IE - RK - SI

Rearrange the pairs:
HI - SL - IE - SI - NT - HE - DA - RK

His Lies In The Dark.
