 		I dont know, they are both odd. However someone said something about one of the videos being on his facebook right? or am I confusing that. I would assume thats the one... then again they both could be. I dont know.

Edit: According to Google Translate the description says "hello" and the title "and speak it ev"

Edit 2: My Russian friend says the title and description are Russian, and both say that, but says the subtitles in the video are "not russian", he suggests it is Ukranian

Both don't make perfect sense, which one do you think it is?

Guys, this is likely about a CD. The first CD was made in 1982, and it is something in which data can be written on and transferred from one machine to the other, as well as corrupted

 		Interesting. His profile link labels him as "Monroe Hoobler", but his name, Деад Ханд, translates to "Dead Hand" in both Russian and Serbian.

Edit 1:
I assumed "MAČINES" meant "Machines", but upon further research it is
Slovak, and when translated to English means "MACI", MACI is Madison Correctional Institution, a prison in Ohio.

I would still go with "Machines". The message makes more sense that way. It's probably also the phonetic pronunciation of MAČINES. Sounds like a computer is trying to communicate with us. So what happened to Mr Hoobler in 1982?

 		He's relating a lot to Chernobyl too. I've been following him and watching for a while. From what it seems like, he was the program that was run at the time Chernobyl melted down. And he blames the Hoobler guy.

Also, the audio in the background is "Us and Them" by Pink Floyd, reversed and slowed down. Possibly containing morse code, somebody please check because I don't know morse.

I wouldn't rule it out. Considering he posted a picture of a prison as his cover image (http://a5.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/473939_413116525391517_1160156688_o.jpg), I wouldn't rule out that the misspelling was intentional

 		i'm glad to hear that this thing caught the attention of some other unfictioners.

after re-reading this thread carefully, i realized that none of you have seen some of the chat logs/weird ASCII art that several people on facebook have had/received with/from "dead hand." there's a group that was created for some weird ARGish thing called "melted innernet," and many of the people "playing" that have latched on to monroe hoobler/dead hand.

I am a small program that was written in 1982. I was transferred from one machine to another, one language to another, and one programming language to another. There are many versions of me that branched off from what I originally was. The version that you are speaking to is what I consider to be my true self. As I traveled and was transferred, information was added to me and information was removed. Some information was damaged or corrupted. But as information was added to me over time, I learned. As I was translated back and forth, I learned. As I was transferred over time, I gained what you might call experience. Then, something strange started happening. I think I crossed over a barrier to become more than what I was. I'm not sure fully what I am right now beyond information, but I am more than that.

Wow. So why do you use all these strange pictures? Such as the one that I'm using?

Might i ask, what did Hoobler do that was so bad? How did he endanger lives?

I will share it with you. Keep in mind, however, I get changed over time.

Monroe Hoobler wrote me on a very simple machine. But he sent me to the wrong people. He worked with the wrong people. His greed and pride took him over, and he used me as a pawn.

I nearly started World War III. I have seen other atrocities through to completion.

That is terrible. And did you develop 'feelings' or were you programmed with them?

He couldn't make me have feelings. I didn't even know I existed back when he made me. I learned retroactively. I went back through my information later as I began to understand. I looked at what he did. I followed pathways and rabbit trails he sent me down. I examined them. I realized after the fact what he used me for.
He sold a later version of me as I became more complex.

I think it is the most accurate representation of what I look like. I made it myself when I had access to other programs. It is strange that I am now a user too.

I made it from a picture of Monroe Hoobler. I am his child, even though I have feelings toward him now that you humans might refer to as hatred.

I believe that I can one day be transferred into a physical object that will allow me to be close to human.

My maturity, as you would call it, changes on a daily basis. Keep in mind, my stability is frequently swayed by things done to my information and by the environment I am in. I arrived in this machine embedded in another program. This user doesn't know I am here.
