I don't think Hoody left that doll there for creep factor. That thing does something... is it the cause of teleportation or what? Weird...

Hoody still seems to hold all of the answers. Why not just invade Jay's current hotel or whatever and come clean with him? Why leave this breadcrumb trail?

Not sure if it's significant, but it might be of note to point out while The Operator is associate with fire, insomuch as the hospital and Jay's apartment, TTA has classically used water symbols, like rain.

Also this entry seems to verify the idea that "The truth is in the origins" refers to Tim's origins.

Can't make anything out of it at the moment. Sorry. But if you rewatch it, the second Jay turns around and notices Slendy, try looking a little bit to the left from Slendy. You can see something moving there, but it's quickly and I can't see anything.

Where he shows his face? I THINK Jay came out of the tunnel into some kind of room. Then promptly turned right around when he saw...that.

He stayed in the tunnel. He got over a few pipes, took a few steps, looked back and vualia - Slendy.

I've said it before, I'll say it again. CLEARLY, Jay lacks the delta brain wave.

You, sir, get 27 cool points for that reference.

What was on the other end of the pipes?

At any rate, I was pretty sure those pipes were in an area that was larger than the tunnels he'd been crawling through.

My impression watching this was that the apparent time jumps were just from the distortion, but I'm starting to warm up to the teleportation theory. Maybe the doll teleported him away every time The Operator was about to catch him?

That's what I was thinking. He did not go into anything like that pipe wall. I will say that teleportation was happening there.

Oh, and one more thing, the second Slendy appears, am I the only one to see a tentacle or his arm moving towards Jay?

I saw someone else mention the tentacle thing. Can someone get a shot of it? I re-watched and didn't see it, but I am open to someone pointing it out to me.

Well...at least you didn't call it filler.

It moved the plot along, but it feels like they're forcing a plot to fit the locations they're using rather than the other way around. Hoody being a cunt and making Jay go down there when he didn't have to doesn't really add up when he does things like conveniently put jay's camera in his car for him in entry 41.

I just really hope the next 10 entries aren't about Jay stalking Tim to find out why he's lying or what he's lying about, I already saw enough of that with Alex.

Thank god we can finally leave this hospital and move onto a new location. Jay getting chased through a tunnel by the operator is cool, but incredibly predictable. I did like that Jay got out, and not just have the operator mess up the camera and end the entry there.

I think Tim is a great actor and deserves the on screen time but unless they're gonna have an entry where they can get a little kid to run from the operator, tim's history situation needs to be wrapped up in the next entry. It's starting to drag on. I don't care who the operator abducted first, I just wanna know why he does what he does.

Overall not a bad entry but not a great one. Plus points for the operator chase obviously, negative points for half the entry being almost the same footage we've seen three times before (really, the first half of the entry seemed forced just to have a longer entry or something, and jay should have just went to the tunnel straight away, and maybe had something happen AFTER he got out instead of before)

I think they're getting a feel for what makes for a good reaction when filming the entries, and that they've actually taken fan response into account. My faith is in them to make the entries better and better.

But seriously, take me back to this hospital one more time and I'm going to personally take a trip to alabama and grafitti "BRIAN IS TOTHEARK, ALEX IS DEAD" on every inch of every wall. Bart simpson chalkboard style, walls will be so filled even troy's blurring of the video won't be able to hide it.

PS. I may be the only person who thinks this, but I prefer Jay not tweeting much of anything outside of his thoughts about the situation at the moment. When he posts about future thoughts it kind of takes away part of the reveal he's going to make. (although in this case his only lead was that tunnel so this doesn't apply here)

Ahhhh okay.. I kind of see it... I will re-watch when it is light out to see again.

People: How could the Operator fit in there?

Me: That's true, I mean sure, the Operator can teleport, erase months of people's memories, probably control people's minds, and knock people without touching them, but there' no way the Operator can KNEEL DOWN. That would just be silly.

People: Why did he let Jay escape?

Me: I dunno, why did he let Tim get out of the abandoned hospital alive, why did he let Jay get out alive when Jay tackled him? There's been like 1,000 times the Operator could have killed the characters, assuming he can kill you so easily, but didn't for whatever reason.

Final thought: I loved this entry. Scared the shit out of me, frankly. OOG:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Remember when Troy mentioned in that interview that they try to go off of primal fears, and thought if only they could somehow include fear of small places. Well, they succeeded.

It makes no sense, but you predicted it?
Personally, I thought it would be Masky down there, to emphasize that Tim has relapsed. Or, that "HE IS A LIAR". Slendy was a little less expected, but I don't think it's too infeasible for him to crawl... I actually kind of liked how his arms moved around, reminded me of the old entries (before he became a statue).

Because he's totheark! Being really vague completely unnecessarily is like, his thing.

Also after frame by framing I gotta criticize that operator apperance

I don't think close up appearances of his face like that work too well. Entry 40 worked well bc it was only his body. In this one his face looks kind of wide and he has no neck.

And I kind of get what Troy is going for with the distortion, but if the distortion is what prolongs entries than I think less time could be spent on it. I love the split picture (top and bottom half of pic not matching up) and the distortion bars, but the 8-bit chunks taken out of the frame (sort of like entry 36) and random filtered operator faces probably take a while to edit in and go by way too fast for people to even notice them. Just my 2c

Slendy being in that tunnel just doesn't fit (no pun intended). I bet they were like "fuck our dumb fans saying he can't fit in there, lets do this just to prove them wrong"

You can predict things that aren't logically sound, particularly in the context of writing.

This is true, but it somewhat detracts from The Operator's threat level if it doesn't at least look like he might do something hostile.
