Actually, that security guard line makes sense now, it's a subtle reference to the guard who told them OOG not to film there anymore.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

For their sake, let's hope they got permission since then. Because not only have they continued to film there, but now they've also vandalized the place.

"Admission"

The term "Admission" can be seen on Tim's hospital records...a university hospital...
and it's the title of a TTA video, possibly by Hoodie...
who may have had these for a while...

Yeah but totheark's admission was referring to "admission to the locked room" that jay couldn't get into in entry 16, shown by a door opening

I believe it is a different place. Wasn't the basement of doom the train museum that was taken down? And Bryan's house had been sold to my knowledge. It may allude to the Basement of Doom, but only as close as they could get without time travel.

Being cornered in a dark tunnel by the Operator

Can you imagine a more terrifying scenario?

I mean, at least most of the time when he appears it's in a fucking field or something. Here, there's no escape.

...unless you're Jay.

It's been proven time and time again that the Operator just...doesn't want Jay for whatever reason

Except, Alex said that he would bring Seth to this general area, just like he brought Tim and Brian to be... dealt with. So, it's likely that the Basement of Doom IS in the building where Tim was knocked out, and Alex brought Seth there later.

Questions:
1. Do we think the hospital Tim was admitted to is the burned down one from this entry and others? This WOULD make sense because Tim grew up around there, and he's the one who suggested Alex use the place near it. It would also explain why Tim didn't want to go to the annex either with Jay or Alex, and why he said he'd had enough of that place for a lifetime.

2. An extension of question 1: Did Tim being there have anything to do with it burning down. It burning down was emphasized in this entry. In the "Who burned down Jay's apartment" thread I made, most people thought the clues led to Tim. Maybe Tim is pyro happy? Or maybe The Operator was stalking Tim when he was admittied and he burned down the hospital.

Slendy just wanted his dolly back. Sad

In all seriousness, I am very curious as to the purpose of the doll. Also, after reading through this thread, The Operator really HASN'T personally hurt someone. ...Is Slendy really the villain?

I was tight with this entry as Jay walked around, as I heard the footsteps, but the minute I saw the damn doll I just started going "no no no not gonna watch no way no nope no get out Jay stop screwing around" I was freaking out.

Damn good entry.

Not sure if it's significant, but it might be of note to point out while The Operator is associate with fire, insomuch as the hospital and Jay's apartment, TTA has classically used water symbols, like rain.

Also this entry seems to verify the idea that "The truth is in the origins" refers to Tim's origins.

Nice observation. Let's not forget about that wonderful painting of the forest on fire ins season 1.

Also, have we ever seen the Operator outside in the rain?

I swear if he goes all wicked witch of the west when he gets wet, that'll be seriously lame.

For anyone wondering about slenderman fitting inside the tunnel, I like to look back on the movie Donnie Darko.
"How can you do that?"
"I can do anything I want. And so can you."

That can also apply to how Jay escaped.

Maybe The Operator feeds on people's brains, driving them insane. Why would this mean he doesn't want Jay though? Oh wait...

I kid Jay, you know we lurves you.

The guy's photobucket was all the burned out hospital and then he had picks of the basement of doom in the same folder , it's gotta be the same area (wasn't related to MH or anything)

also again like i've said before, ALEX LIES. nothing alex says can be taken to truth

Personal details missing

We've seen plenty of instances of Jay blocking or blooping out personal or specific info such as people's last names and the town/state where, for example, the house fire was. This is the first time I've noticed when someone other than Jay has shown us documents that they themselves have doctored to remove personal details. We might think this is an OOG reason, maybe, but look, sometimes they used white to block out the university name, sometimes they used black to block Tim W's surname...
It's like Hoodie was aware that in all probability
a. Jay would film these pages and
b. would not be killed by TO so they would be uploaded to YouTube.

YouTube is Part of the Game now, in-story all the way, so yeah.

Just to say...I know sometimes it's hard to sell a building that's said to be haunted.
Would YOU, if it suited your budget and location and all, wish to be the owner of THAT HOUSE?
I would, it would be fantastic!

I like the theory of the doll keeping TO away. Hoody left it there as a precaution. It still doesn't explain why he had to keep the folder down there though. Couldn't he easily just left it in the room that Jay goes out of his way to visit with the graffiti?

My first impression of the TO sighting was not that he was crawling, but the top of him was sticking out of the floor. I personally don't think Jay did any teleporting. IIRC, before Jay got to the tunnel with the folder, there was a branch in the tunnel. When he got out of the tunnel with the folder, he took the branch that he hadn't gone down yet. All the hectic camera flailing and distortion could've just made it very hard to tell where Jay was really going.

I have no convictions as to who the footsteps were. It could've been anyone up there.

Calling people liars certainly seems to be a theme this season.

One last thought: the fancy "Liar" and Operator symbol on the folder was a bit strange to me. Why go through the effort of making it look that nice when the doll was obviously to get Jay's attention? In fact, the different directions of the letters almost made the word seem comical to me.
