Just thought I'd chime in here regarding The Operator's physical attributes and what is possible for him.The bottom line for ME is that I see no conflict with him being physically able to do things otherwise "impossible".Like many of H.P. Lovecraft's characters and settings,The Operator is an eldritch horror,an abomination, which pretty much means to some extent that he is able to DEFY the laws of physics as we know them--that's part of what makes something abominable--it does NOT follow our expected, safe, predictable "rules" and therefore,is that much more horrifying.
I mentioned Lovecraft (cuz I'm a fan, plus he's well known for this) but many other horror and sci-fi writers have incorporated this theme into their writings. In Lovecraft's "Dreams in the Witch House" not only are there horrifying beings from other dimensions/realities invading his dreams and his reality--but the very ROOM the protagonist is staying in/renting has an "impossible" geometry.
I'm sure there has to be at least a few fans of "House of Leaves" on this forum, which is another good example of fucked up geometry and dimensions of a place "not adding up".
Metallica's song "The Thing That Should Not Be" is about Lovecraft's legendary Cthulhu Mythos, and one of the reasons he's called that is because he should NOT be able to BE,and yet--he DOES exist!

For ME--if I am going as far as taking it in stride/accepting that there is a being that's very tall and has long arms and or/tentacles and NO FUCKING FACE,who can teleport seemingly at will, and cause or at least contribute to all manner of time/space/mind/health fuckery--then it is no huge leap at all that he can fit himself wherever he wants to--he simply is not limited to the same laws of physics that we are.

Moving on--whoever mentioned many pages ago that they were confused about how we could hear footsteps above that sounded the way they do,I noted that as well and it makes no sense to me,either,as from what we've seen so far,all the flooring/ground above Jay is concrete and someone walking around above him would make no noise.I need to re-watch the entry again more carefully.

Penicillin/amoxicillin is actually a pretty common allergy.

OOG-ish?
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I wonder if the allergy info was offered as a way to thin out the possibilities for the pills? If I'm not mistaken, an amoxicillin allergy means a lot of antibiotics are off the table, and codeine means a slew of related painkillers are out.

ETA: Sorry folks, I'll try to make more sense when the heat index drops back below 100F.

The idea of a five year old masky just sounds so cute! Someone needs to fan art this now.

Note:I did not create this.

Well done with the medical records, Droshi! From these pages it looks like a) slendersickness can kill (I suspected this, based on the spitting up of blood, but renal failure is an even more urgent complaint) and b) Tim was already paranoid at the point of Renal failure, and only admitted five months later. Without the renal failure who knows how long he might have gone without the mental health care?

He would probably be Masky 24/7. Haha.

I looked up the side effects of renal failure:

Quote:
Symptoms:

Bloody stools
Breath odor
Bruising easily
Changes in mental status or mood
Decreased appetite
Decreased sensation, especially in the hands or feet
Fatigue
Flank pain (between the ribs and hips)
Hand tremor (haven't we seen this at least once? Not sure)
High blood pressure
Metallic taste in mouth
Nausea or vomiting, may last for days
Nosebleeds
Persistent hiccups
Prolonged bleeding
Seizures
Slow, sluggish movements
Swelling - generalized (fluid retention)
Swelling of the ankle, foot, and leg

Looks like he has had enough symptoms of renal failure, at least enough to warrant testing. But I'm no doctor. Razz

I just reread this. I like how I just assumed Tim was having bloody stools when the only evidence of massive bleeding has been in a sink.

NOW I'm thinking about Masky taking a squat on the counter while looking at himself in the mirror and crying deeply. Wink

This could possibly have been mentioned before but I thought the Operator showed up like right after Jay picked up the doll? Since it looks like a smaller version, maybe holding it summons the Operator? I'm not sure if Jay teleported or simply was let go, but maybe since Jay tried to fight the Operator before it didn't want to hurt him again, just scare him?

Speaking of scare, even though I was expecting something to happen it still made me jump when the Operator was right there in front of Jay, I was yelling at Jay as he was running and crawling "Go, run, get out of there!" As far as who's lying I too believe it's Tim but what is he lying about? I like the idea of the Operator being like an imaginary friend (like Drop Dead Fred), maybe that's how he got to this world? I hope Jay posts the documents or discusses what he found, and poor Tim! He suffered through a lot!

What we know:

Jay is smarter now.
Slenderman is back and still scary as fuck.
Tim's medical episodes span back MANY years, to a time where he was just a child.
Tim's MOTHER was with him at the first Admission.
On the 2002 records, it states that "patient/family members were uncoorperative". Possible resistance to the Dialysis?
Jay has the doll.
Slenderman disregard all rules of space.
Someone else was there.
Hoody *we assume* left a message for SOMEONE, most likely Jay
Tim is seriously fucked up from all of this.

What we don't know:

What all is contained in the records.
Where is Tim/Alex/Jessica/Amy/Seth/etc. now.
Who was upstairs.
What connection does the doll still have.
How did Jay escape. Was he "let" escape or did he legitimately outrun Slenderman.

What we have started to assume:

Messages were for Jay
Slenderman let Jay go
Tim is lying about something, probably medical history (quote "I was getting better")
Hoody left the messages
Someone was upstairs, possibly looking for, or waiting for, Jay

What this means:

Not a whole lot. We need to know the contents of the records to know what Tim was lying about. Other than that, we have exactly zero leads.

My theories.
I know some of this has been said but whatever.

I don't know what to make of this. I have a theory that's a bit weird but I guess I should share it.
In the beginning, Alex was being stalked by OP but it was eventually reversed, with Alex seeking out answers and hunting OP. What if Alex is still looking for OP and thinks that Jay is under the influence of him and is after him too. That could mean that OP
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
helped Jay escape the tunnel because the footsteps were Alex
. TTA is hunting Alex for some reason and is using Jay to get them/him/her self to him. TTA was probably Hoody and Masky but now it appears
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Masky betrayed Hoody in some way and Hoody is the only member of TTA and is hunting Alex and Tim now.

TL;DR
1. Alex is hunting OP and Jay
2. TTA is hunting Alex and is using Jay for this.
3. Tim left TTA and Masky is trying to tell Jay that he's a liar.

Silly guess: The footsteps we heard were only Slendy's lower half.

This continues to back up my theory that the operator has some kind of radiation shit going on with it and that being near it destroys your insides

the first time jay encounters the operator is in return

then entry 23

then entry 40

then entry 46

then entry 52

then 60

the only one he actually remembers is entry 60, although he remembered 40 and 46 at the time
