Just speculating, I think that Tim has been lying about his memory loss, and he does in fact remember the past events. This will lead to a revelation as to whether or not he killed Alex at the barn, and will cause Jay to go looking for Alex. I'm probably wrong, but I just thought I'd throw my theory out there.

WHY TELEPORTATION DIDN'T HAPPEN, AND HOW JAY TRAVELED THROUGH THE TUNNELS:

First tunnel, at 4:02:


Second tunnel, at 4:37:


Jay comes to the first crawl space:



Third tunnel, after going over the pipes, at 4:51:



Halfway down the third I assume, after a jump cut at 5:05:



The end of the third hallway at 5:16:



Jay looks behind him again, still in the third hallway, at 5:28:



Jay comes to the second crawl space at 5:47, he appears to look over it and see a really long hallway, and then turns left to the location of the doll and documents. THIS IS THE JUNCTION.

Jay comes back to the crawlspace (#2) and turns LEFT, facing further DOWN the hallway. He's going DEEPER, not leaving..

Jay looks BACK to see The Operator in the spot where he just crawled over, now blocking his way BACK to the entrance. This is 8:00.

A distortion occurs, this is the next available view of the hallway, if it's not a different one with Jay having turned the corner already at 8:27:



Another distortion, this time ending with Jay either further down the same hallway, or in a completely different one, at 8:33:



Jay approaches the third crawlspace, which causes the whole "teleportation" controversy; keep in mind that he has been continuously traveling through different parts of the labyrinth; just because he hasn't seen this one before doesn't mean he has teleported.

After that the video's too unclear to see any more tunnels, and then Jay's finally out after another distortion cut.

So this is what happens. Jay comes into the small corridor with the documents by making a left, but when he's leaving, he makes another left, going further down the direction of the hallway with the second crawlspace. The direction he looked over when he originally came to the junction (as someone mentioned earlier). Watch carefully from 5:50 to 8:00. He makes the turn at 7:50ish, and goes over the pipes. When The Operator first appears, it's blocking the direction BACK to the entrance. Jay ends up running deeper into the tunnel labyrinth. So yes, the third crawlspace Jay comes to is a completely different one from the other two. Because it's in an entirely different part of the tunnel, which makes sense, because Jay's been walking further and further into the tunnel the entire time. However the hell he gets out isn't in the tape, and Jay can't remember it. So yeah. If teleportation occurred, nothing SHOWN in the video directly proves it. It could happen in the cut parts with all the distortion, but we don't see it happen. All we know is that a jump cut after the final crawlspace leads to Jay being outside. Somehow. I guess Jay wasn't supposed to go past the second crawlspace.

And yeah, I called things that Jay didn't crawl through crawlspaces. Sue me.

Anyway, that might clear up this whole "teleportation" thing. Jay might have needed teleportation to get the hell out of the labyrinth, considering how far deep in he was, but the difference in crawlspaces doesn't necessarily provide evidence for that. So I'm against teleportation right now.

Edited a few times for continuity and some minor errors. So refresh if you started reading this and it changed, hahaha.

Actually, didn't The Operator appear at the beginning of the 4th corridor, forcing Jay to run back the way he came?

The way it runs is that Jay turns into the small corridor with the documents from the third hallway (unless I miscounted, but whatever hallway it was), turns back around, comes back to the junction in that same hallway, and continues going down it. He turned left to get into the corridor, so if, when coming back, he turns left again, it means he's continuing down that original hallway. He hops over the pipes (he never did that before, so he has to be going forwards, not backwards), walks down that hallway, and starts breathing heavily. He turns around and sees the Operator by the pipes he had just hopped over. He can't go back, so he starts running further into the maintenance tunnel, and shit goes down.

I just watched it again and this is what I see happening still.

It's been fixed. I'll make a post in the Mod sticky thread, but just to reiterate:

If you quote a post with images, change the IMG links to URL links. You also don't need to quote the post immediately before yours. If posts have been made since you started writing yours, the forum will tell you and let you review the posts that have been made in the interim before you can submit yours. If you you think it's necessary to add quotes after that, you can always put them in then.
