Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Following your logic, shouldn't you have stopped watching around entry 8? First 8 entries "Alex is being stalked by creepy guy, small details given about what this causes", next 10 "Alex is stalked by creepy guy while filming movie, small details given about what this causes" last of first season "slow build climax". Season 2, none stop story. Troseph realizes "hey, this is a horror series, we should bring back some of that long horrifying suspense from season one, while still flushing out the story"

At the end of the day you're watching a suspenseful horror film. Stop expecting it to be an episode of CSI.

Back in game, I agree the date must mean something, I'm thinking it may show up again later. Maybe there was a mention of this date in a previous totheark video?

do you feel safe in your home answer no, was yes

are you afraid of anyone answer no, was yes

This gives me the chills. I can just picture little 2nd grade tim saying that he felt safe in his home, but was afraid of someone. The doctor questioning this, when little Tim instead goes "Well, I guess i'm not afraid of him, but I don't ever feel safe".

Also yes, back of folder is sad panda! (or just a picture of what hoody has on his mask)

I've really got nothing much else to add to this, but I think it was an interesting entry - even if it gives us a few more questions than answers.

I found it kind of amusing that one of the redacted question was whether or not Tim had been touched inappropriately (SLENDICLES?). I do agree that the wiki should be updated with the forms as well as links to the original (blank) forms in their unredacted state.

Hmm. Anyone want to tweet Jay with the links to the forms? At least he can know whether or not the redacted questions are likely to have any serious bearing (e.g. Potty Training)

Also, now that I'm posting this, I can't remember where we are on suggesting Tim's age, but the form does state that his most recently completed school year was grade 2. Which means (generally) in December 1995 he would have been in 3rd grade. Which should put him around 8 or 9, 7 at the youngest (without skipping grades).

Yeah, like Jay, I'm not really sure where he should go from here. There's no Back to the Tapes he can do. He's obviously not going back to the hospital. So, it's back to talking to Tim, or TTA providing new evidence, or some other outside intervention.

I don't know. I've been half expecting Jay to go through the Season 1 tapes again and find something new that he wasn't looking for first time around. The fanbase probably wouldn't like it, but I think there's still plenty of potential from the 2006 era that hasn't been tapped.

He was teleported there once, right? So if he's being stalked now then there's a chance he could end up there again against his will.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Strawman. This isn't a suspenseful horror 'film', it's a youtube serial. The same things that work when an audience is committed to a 1.5 - 2 hour duration don't work when it's usually a 'surprise' when new content is released and the content delivered is in 5 to 20 minute increments.

The entry in the tunnel was a great change, but honestly I'm not so pleased with the documents video and not just for the time to get it up. This is probably a big fuck you to Jay from Hoody and feeds into that plot point but the build up to finally finding something out about Tim and what we got doesn't match up. We get a few items of information that we didn't know before (which is great), but this story point is just dragging on and on. A good place to go would be to get Tim and Jay in Rosswood together for whatever reason.

Personally I think having two people 'operated' on, and each filming it + aftermath would be awesome. It would introduce a new dynamic into the season and provide a route for more exposition by Tim. Dark Harvest did it once and I thought it was really awesome, even just for the suspense of having two different vantage points of the same bad thing(s) happening. Or have him relapse in front of Jay and maybe even talk in his 'other' persona(s).

No one is expecting this to be CSI, so not really sure where that came from, but there needs to be something new, be it a character, a dynamic (which we've seen part of with the tunnel, once again awesome choice of location). Yes, the style of Operator footage / investigation worked in Season 1 and it was enjoyable, but it's time to take it to the next level.

Probably a geek out here but you can compare it to Season 3 of TNG, most of that season was basically Picard being awesome, and that was great since most of my favourite episodes are in that season, but Michael Piller himself (Exec Producer) stated in an interview that he didn't want to write that Picard anymore because it wasn't bringing the story forward any, and he wasn't an interesting character because you more or less knew that he was going to save the day. When he was assimilated by the Borg and started showing that vulnerable and human side, he became a much more interesting character. That's what needs to happen here, a push in a new direction we aren't expecting.

Jay should pass a tip on to Tim that a truck overturned in the middle of Rosswood park and there's free cigarettes everywhere.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I actually kind of like the slow pacing this season has, and i think it's the only realistic choice they have, really. For all of season 2, Jay was just travelling around watching the tapes and nothing really happened to him in real time. If we started getting dramatic reveals every other entry in season 3, it would feel really unrealistic and a little too convenient. I mean, everything just grinds to a halt while Jay watches the tapes and then when he's all caught up and ready to go everything just starts up again? No, that would just feel really unrealistic to me. Jay needs to kick around the hornets' nest a little before shit starts to go down.

Also, to those who are speculating that the date is 1/10/10, eeh, I doubt it. Look at the quality of the paper - It's old and water-damaged in parts. Unless Hoody decided to drown the papers in tea or coffee or whatever, paper wouldn't get like that in two years time

Paper can be manipulated quite easily to look (quite) old with various methods, and certain paper types takes manipulation even faster.

@MHFanLuca: I think that's just an encoding error, honestly. Something about the frame rate bugged me about this video, too, but I don't think it's intentional.[/quote]

Did Tim run away, or was he taken? Also the picture of tim and Jay has been folded into quarters, not that it's a clue or something, just a weird thing to do with a printed out photo that would fit in the folder just fine without bending it. But then again it is TTA.

Suicide/Self-Harm Assessment Tool: http://www.hospital-forms.com/57.pdf

Brief Operative Progress Note: http://hospital-forms.com/1281.pdf

Source for all this is the hospital forms website. Not too hidden, especially considering this is MH we're talking about. I just Googled them. I also went through and filled out all the forms; they're a little behind in this thread. I'd put them on the Wiki but I'd need a new page to do that, and the Entry 60.5 page hasn't even been put up yet; only a moderator can create the Wiki pages. So, waiting, and then maybe all the information'll go up there.

If a moderator doesn't have a problem with it I could go ahead and make a thread for all the information so that it's all in one spot, but I don't wanna upset anyone by making a new thread; seems that's a sensitive issue. Razz

EDIT: Misread that. Yeah, I guess I could tweet the links to him but I dunno if it would really help him/have any effect on the story. I'll do that though.

EDIT #2: Done. Doubt it'll come to anything though.

@marblehornets We found blank versions of the medical documents online, and nothing that was redacted seemed especially vital. Want them?

I love the way that Jay is just revealing all of Tim's most personal and sensitive secrets on Youtube for the whole world to see... right after Tim had a mental breakdown because of Jay interfering in his life and bringing back his mental troubles. Way to go Jay Razz

Still though, good entry. I like having Jay talking during the entry rather than just having text.

Actually, all of the mostly sensitive stuff was redacted, and what WAS revealed in those documents, in terms of sensitivity, is mild, and I doubt Tim would be infuriated about that.

On the contrary, invading someone's personal medical info, especially things like mental disorders, depression, and thoughts of suicide, without their permission, could REALLY hurt/piss someone off. But I feel like Tim might have decided to just pretend none of this is happening/might have stopped keeping up with the channel after that huge blowout he had in #59.

Still, very careless on Jay's part...he could have tweeted pictures of what he found on the documents or something if he really wanted to, especially considering how much was redacted in a few, and how much specificity he applied to particular tidbits rather than going through everything. Certainly don't feel like it was all important.

It's not really that amusing to watch Jay get punched in the face at this point though. Sad Alex, sure...

Does the doctor's signature actually say Christopher Walken?

Supposedly the signature actually says Nicholas Cage.

And the way I see it, the only way forward for Jay is for Tim to come back and punch him in the face again, a TTA video, or go to Rosswood Park (which would probably end badly).
