Just listened to the entry 6 times

You are right. That line WAS wrong. It said: We have the camera shot.

Now stop your bickering and actually go rewatch the entry.

Jay passed away in the early morning of the ninth of August. He leaves behind thousands of tapes of himself going about his daily routine and stalking Alex, as well as an unfinished student film given to him by his friend Alex. Services will be held at Morningside Funeral Home on Monday.

I DID rewatch the entry. The point is, either way, Seth wasn't mentioned.

I DID rewatch the entry. The point is, either way, Seth wasn't mentioned.

 		I find it amazing how whether or not a character was off screen in one of the early entries, and whether or not another character was mentioned in a different entry completely makes or breaks my ability to enjoy this series.


This changes everything. And is very relevant to entry 61.

 		Or maybe IG it is a goof or continuity error. Marble hornets the student film never existed, nor did its production. All entries were "staged" by people in on it.

I agree that it sounds like he is saying seth here, but its kind of hard to tell with the way Alex says it though. But really, does it matter?

 		I think he turned to the girl operating the camera and still in the same sentence(as people sometimes do) tells her to get set to control it; talking about the panning shot. It sounds like he's saying Seth every other time you listen to it, but it also sounds like he's just running two words together. Set and To. It sounds like Joseph's southern twang probably caused the issue. Maybe some of you don't hear it a whole lot, but yeah, all three of the guys really do sound like they are from the south and speech patterns here are sometimes odd.


The point to this, Seth wasn't even there. The girl's voice comes from right on top of the camera, meaning she's the one controlling it. So why would Alex feel the need to make a comment about Seth controlling something? Also, that doesn't even make sense in film terms.

"As long as we have the camera shot, just get Seth to control it." That makes no sense. He's giving directions for filming. They're about to do a shot where they pan the camera to follow two actors. You have to control that pan. It's not something the camera does on it's on. You have to carefully control the speed at which you pan or else it looks like total shit.
