Sorry, but that minor grammar fail made me think of this! That one comic has forever ruined this board (in a good way) for me.

At this point, there is no "excuse" that Jay could come up with to justify such a huge delay. They had a really good chance to capitalize on a perfect setup, and blew it by pushing off 62 so long. Ruins the experience for the viewer... I highly doubt Jay was captured by TO and that would be pretty lame if he was.

What if Alex attacked him and he is in a mini coma? what if he is tied up in Alex's basement?

Then imo they would have ruined the hype. That scenario just doesn't seem like something that would be really cool or give us any new information

The reason I have high expectations is because of season 2. Troy has the distortion editing downpat and they have made the perfect looking operator by entry 43 (although it could use some on screen movement without jay immediately running away). The characters had been developed properly and the story was going good. The problem I have with this season is that it feels so derivative from the basis for seasons 1 and 2, that jay was running from the operator and trying to get alex to help him figure out what was happening to them as a result of the operator being around. Now that Jay knows he is never safe, he's trying to find help from Tim, but Tim's actions make little sense (assuming Tim is innocent). For example, if this was a problem Tim was having his whole life, he would want help, even if it was from someone he knew kept him in the dark for 3 years. He wouldn't be mad at putting the videos up online because the operator doesn't have a computer, and jay hasn't filmed anything regarding tim that gives away his position to alex. Plus, if Tim watched the videos, he'd see that he was masky and shouldn't blame jay for not telling him anything after he broke into jay's house and led him straight to the operator, even if he didn't remember it happening.

I can understand that they want to flesh out the characters histories a little more and not just rely on the operator to keep people watching, but by doing that they're insinuating that the operator doesn't really care about them as much anymore. In season 1 he'd follow alex around EVERYWHERE, but he doesn't seem to do that for Jay or Tim. And I personally don't "get" totheark at this point. I like the videos, but his actions don't make sense. Why tease and creep out jay and watch him for hours on end if you don't truely want his help. And if you do, why be so cryptic?

Plus, the only reason Jay continued the investigation had to be because of Jessica. There was over a year where the operator didn't bother jay except for that one time he felt sick through tweets. But why does Jay still think Tim can help him if he knows that Tim can't even help himself? It parallel's Jay and Jessica, in that Jessica was no help and just along for the ride and that she got in trouble because of Jay involving her. So Jay wants to find Jessica and thinks that Tim can help him do so, but I don't get why he makes that assumption. I can understand wanting Tim's help because he has experience with the operator, but if he doesn't even remember it happening then what good is he? I think what they're leading into is that Jay and masky are finally gonna talk and masky will help jay out.

Everyone has to understand that while we hate the pacing now, when it's all out we might think differently because we will have the whole story. Doesn't mean we can't be annoyed at the wait now though.

Tim is like the punching bag for MH.

The only thing hes good for is getting his leg smashed, loosing memory, going into his "Masky State", getting stalked by Hoody and in turn getting seizures because he can't find his pills.

He also gets knocked out and left in an abandoned hospital at night, has Alex trying to find him, and the worst part:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
seeing how wide Jay's eyes are apart

Am I the only person that didn't get a heightened sense of urgency from the end of #61? I've pretty much expected a 2 week gap this entire time, as per the norm when posting entries...

Don't know why so many people expected an immediate update.

Because Jay left his residence to go find Tim and brought his camera, and assuming nothing horrible happened to him he would have footage to upload the following day

Is my first post the 1,000th post on the Twitterpocalypse '012 thread?
EDIT: It totally was. =D
Just thought I'd make an account to share that I've literally spent over 8 hours sitting in my chair, reading this thread from start to page 67 (I was doing other stuff, too).

As for Marble Hornets...
I've known about Slendy for... 10 months or so, but only recently started watching MH. If you ever find my twitter (good luck), you'd see that I made the mistake of watching them at 1:30 AM, all alone. This happened two nights in a row, skipped one night, and then finished it the fourth night. If it weren't for this forum, I would be much more paranoid right now than I am. I knew all along it was a fake, but it wasn't until I found Unfiction that I could watch without having to brainwash myself to sleep. So, a big thank you for pulling me out of game and back to reality.
My take on things so far- from reading this thread all the way through (nutella is the devil/SPAAAAAAACE/pyramid slaves), I've become fond of the idea that Hoody is a party in and of himself/herself. They are related to MH, Alex's film, but in regards to TO, they are a secret force. I like to think Hoody is puppeteer-ing Jay/Tim to take down TO/Alex by some plan so secret, they can't even know about it. I guess that leads me to my next personal idea about things- Alex is in cahoots with TO. Whether or not by his own will is still up in the air in my mind, but it all seems too uncanny for them not to have some mutual agreement.
My impressions on #61 are as follows: TiMasky has run off to Rosswood, for reasons he's not even sure of. Jay ran straight to Rosswood, where he will eventually meet up with Masky. Hoody is already camped out, doing his/her marionette thing. Jay went there to help Tim out, but I think that with the introduction of the Operator at a climactic point, they'll fall right into Hoody's plans and start working together. I still haven't decided if/how Alex will be involved.
"TheTrees" is a great point to tie up the story Alex told in Rosswood on the original attempt to kill Jay. I take no credit in saying, I think what comes out of this next episode/s will give a glimpse of insight into the Operator's origins. Alex's story said something about "stringing people up and leaving them there", which stretched them out (I put that out of quotes because I didn't catch that when I watched it, but I read something here on the idea). Hoody/ToTheArk knows more than anybody what's going on with our slender friend, and I think this is when we get to learn a bit (just a bit). (And if they don't, they missed a perfect opportunity. TheTrees that TO came from, all of the main characters in one place; it's a great set-up for exposition).

I think this will do for my first post. I realize it doesn't say much, but hopefully I'll say more later.

Yeah, because Jay always uploads footage the day after he does something and there is never a week to two week delay ever. He would never make us wait. Puh-leaze. There is absolutely nothing to set this apart from any other entry on the "next release" time line.

Dat avatar. I think I'm going to download an emulator just so I can play that game again.

As for theory, one question remains. Who was pills?

Dat avatar. I think I'm going to go listen to Kyoga's "Behind You".
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I'll need to find the link on EqD first...

Pills is Amy's dead pet wildebeest Malekai, of course.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
A.k.a., I have no idea if pills is a joke or if I'm that oblivious

I wasn't expecting anything soon at first, but then Jay began tweeting his progress in real time. After that I was very surprised that there wasn't another entry prepared to be posted that night, or atleast the next night, as Jay can only post at night apparently.
