 		Haven't played anything in a very long time... but this looks fun.

Anyway, just wanted to add that if you google Lauren R. and Candlelight Cafe, you will get only one hit.. for a yelp review. If you read it and follow the link for candlelight cafe, you'll find a website.

At first I wasn't sure about the review/reviewer being in-game or not... but then found the website. So, it seems Lauren has a yelp acct., complete with a profile & a few friends Wink
Plus there is another reviewer named Eli H...

Please be patient with me, and don't fish-slap me too much. I've been out of the loop for a very long time.... just trying to jump in & get my fee wet again Smile

 		I already had looked up Candlelightcafe to be honest. But didnt see anything interesting. Well there is a cellphone number on the page sure. Anyone trying to call them up?
Can you post a transcript of what you get when you call em?
Also if they ask if you want to make reservations make sure to get a table for 12

 		Well, that's quite the strange one huh? The yelp account has been around for years, with that Lauren R.'s first review being a GYNO in 2009. Not to mention the Lauren R.'s review of the restaurant was as a patron, and not long before the Lauren R. in the game was staff.

I feel like there is some odd mistake going on, that the real person was trying to review a real location, not a char reviewing the fictional location. There is a very real location called "Candle Cafe" in NYC, as well as a very real CandleLight Cafe in Astoria NY. Although the craziness of the name of the character and the real person here leaves me with uneasy doubt.


BTW: I also can't help but wonder about the yelp page for CandleLightCafe saying being labeled "please delete"

ETA: you don't get a real person on the phone. It is simply a recording saying something like they are closing for renovations and all of their tables are booked, please call back next year. But you also have the option to leave a message.

ETA2: Also, the other review doesn't seem right either. They got the meal right, but from the sounds of it this place wouldn't be able to just seat someone on the fly. Bad writing?

 		Oh, also i got a reply from Gabby on twitter, all i really said was that i liked her sketches and asked how was the movie.

Pretty happy that i got a response.

Also Rob is at work. If something goes wrong the answer might lie at work. Maybe Rob cheating with someone at work?

Who knows.

I hope they add stuff into the box at the main website.

Just a small thing would be good enough

could be a backpack of someone near by in a public location. Could be gabby's elbow bent because she is holding the camera up to her face.

 		Hey there! Sorry for posting again. So i took a better look at the pictures with a friend, the ones Gabby posted a bit ago. I'll put it as spoiler in case anyone wants to see it on their own.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
So she looked at the metadata and as it seems the pictures were taken with 2 different cameras at the same date, July 9th.

The one with Rob and the kids was taken on an iPhone at 16:41:59 and the one with the daughter (?) was taken with a Canon EOS 7D at 17:01:20.


I also saw that Rob has a bandage or brace on his finger. I sent Gabs a tweet asking what happened to him. Awaiting replies.

This is getting way better by the minute.

While this is all great story, i feel like we haven't had enough time to get to know these people to do/say anything important one way or the other. We only suspect he's cheating because we are told it is a "deadly affair" - as a random person, i'm not sure i would tell Gabby "hey, Rob's cheating on you" there is no proof, other than he stayed out all night. I also don't see the point in trying to save their marriage/lives - dude, he just met the waitress and had the affair the next day? with three kids, and a wife.... Marriage shouldn't be saved. I'd like to egg her on. Wink however at this point, there doesn't *really* seem much that can be done. Sad I sent her a Direct Message saying

 		Hmmm... Maybe we could ask if that cinema they went to has a website? Or maybe keep looking up stuff about Lauren? Try to get in contact with her.

We know she was serving them. Maybe we could ask if she noticed anything off. Maybe during dinner?

Might not work but at least we could try.

Yeah, uhm, i don't know enough about IT, but I don't think it takes an over night to fix an email system. someone else want to give it a try?

Not sure what you mean by "keep looking up stuff about Lauren" we haven't found anything about her at all yet. that lauren on yelp was an odd coincidence. Unless you can fake the dates of reviews on Yelp, her reviews started in 2009. As of right now, there are no google results for the movie theater - i'm going to assume they didn't make one?

I'm feeling less and less like this is "playable". Sad
