The Entity: We are running out of time, Ethan.

The Entity: (? Close your eyes? ) And you can see, Ethan. Your mind cannot comprehend what truly exists. You can perceive just a portion of reality. There is more. Your kind has seen the effects of this and attempted to explain it. That is futile. I can see them..I can understand them...just as you can see and perceive time, person.
Ethan: That DOESN'T ANSWER MY FUCKING QUESTION! Why me! Why the FUCK did you bring me HERE!?
The Entity: Have you ever felt that you were meant to be at a certain place at a certain time?
Ethan: Doesn't everyone?
The Entity: Yes, but they are lying to themselves Ethan. But you are not like them.
Ethan: So...so what?!...I was meant to be here??
The Entity: No
Ethan: So what the fuck is this about then?

The plan was a simple one. But things such as this are never simple, are they. While you successfully infiltrated Horizon Industries and retrieved dozens of highly classified documents, that only led you to a bigger challenge.

Many of you have been active participants in this fight. As the challenges grew, you were tested. Many of you have simply lent your voice to the cause. This is okay, and people such as you are needed as well.

But with those challenges, there is support. Incredible as this may seem, two working for Horizon Industries have made contributions to our fight. The first, unknowingly, the second, apparently tired of Horizon's actions.

Ethan Covington, who from what we know seems to be a drifter of sorts, was the successful applicant for the Atlas position that seemed in our grasp long ago. However, his ship crashed on his journey home to Earth when his job was completed early. You should consider yourself lucky that it wasn't you, friends. He did survive, however, and eight transmissions (which can be heard by remotely accessing the Atlas Station server here: http://servers.horizonindustries.org/atlas/) have been sent from the uncharted planet he is struggling to survive on.

I warn you. What you will hear from his transmissions is not easy to hear, at times. We may be dealing with a far greater evil than we ever imagined. But his voice is being heard, and by all accounts of our other supported, Horizon is motivated to...well, you can see for yourself.

Our other supported on the inside is Tanner Wallace. You may know him as the leader of the Aegis Patrol Unit that captured your leader Everest. Wallace was not at all happy about the treatment of Everest, or his execution, and began leaking files to us through his personal Aegis data folder (which can be accessed here: http://aegis.horizonindustries.org/patrol/ ).

And then there is myself. I fear you may have worried that I lost faith. I have not. Diplomatic missions to the twelve other planets in the Union, including my own Oceanus, have occurred and will continue to occur. I am currently making a final push, simply asking for resources to be available should you need them.

There is not much time left. John Sparrow has made it clear that harnessing whatever is there with Ethan on that planet is his highest priority.

01.08.2277 is the date set for this mission to be carried out.

So Its creators were presumeably incapable of interstellar flight. That however doesn't mean they were unable to go somewhere by other means (we can't keep the potential out of sight).

Since I had minor dental surgery done today, I'm not going to respond to It today. Sorry, I'm just not in the mood for an argument about self-modifying AIs like Star Trek's Lt. Cmdr. Data (or Skynet).

 		Well that was a long ass meeting. Productive too:

The plan from last week doesn't work so well with everyone on RED ALERT. trainjumper did a great job plotting with Harper Black to stage a conversation to be fed to the RM. This should hopefully be enough to get them to believe that he has completely complied with his end of the bargain, sending the other half of his payment.
Siren should then be able to slip the ship while the crew is asleep to Oceanus where Richard Kai has agreed to play host.
We need to get trainjumper's pass to HB on Oceanus before we can safely get her back to Earth, but once we get her to Kai we should have a little more wiggle room as far as time goes.

We need to try and convince Siren to do the job for as little as possible if we want to afford her come time to help Ethan. Both me and trainjumper may have annoyed her tonight (note: she doesn't like to be asked the same question twice, and she doesn't have anything to prove) so tread lightly when asking her for anything. However, I asked her if there was anything else (besides credits) she'd do the job for. Her answer:

 		Crap. I closed my eyes for a minute...and fell asleep during the meeting. Ill see if I can work on Siren in the morning..( I still can't believe I fell asleep..LOL). I was one of the first to reach out to her in the beginning ..maybe that might help?

nope, that was in response to trainjumper suggesting she might be willing to do the job for free to prove how skilled she was. She didn't appreciate that angle Wink

Sorry, I haven't had a chance. Been dealing with a broken heater in my apt ( amongst other things)..but once I get a chance, I will..
