Sorry to burst your bubble, but I still have a feeling that if one of us is meant to play Horizon that it'll be random.

So, I took a turn conversing with LISA. I've asked for clarification of "pull of many hands". Any ideas what that could mean? She is AI, right? Is she being influenced?

I'm going to go with that Atlas was once built and then forgotten. I could be completely wrong, but it goes with what you were talking about in your communications with LISA.

Also, I agree that it will be a random selection. Oooorrr, and this is a big OR, the messages are being relayed and the "higher ups" are actually reading them and will select one person themselves. The reason I say this is because it appears that LISA's responses are becoming less AIish and more "human".

EDIT: As a funny aside, it seems as though LISA has a soft spot. We have been talking about "art" and one of her responses was that "I haven't felt creative in a long time".

When you think about it, we all "feel the pull of many hands".

Your different family members with their points of view, their expectations, the wishes of your girlfriend/boyfriend/husband/wife/partner, your job in general and individuals within it, your tight schedule and the laws dictating how quickly you can travel to meet it.

If you don't feel or recognize the existence of these influences, you're probably a very detached, cold, possibly even robotic person. Some may say that they don't care about someone else's expectations of them, and it may be true, but, they are aware of those expectations.

I think that coupled with her recent behavior, LISA saying that she "feels the pull of many hands" isn't a sign of an outside force directly altering her behavior but instead a new ability for her to be aware of the existence of expectations and influences rather than just direct orders.

While I don't want to show my full hand (not for the sake o competition, but er... keeping my plan sound) something interesting with lisa.

I told her in response to something "I always listen. I always watch too." (er... out of context that second part sounds creepy. Bear with me folks.)

The reply I got was "Me two."

Trying to decide if that is just them saying they do it double, if there is something wrong to where they blatantly used the wrong too.

Maybe this supports the something wrong theory.

We'll see. My response was simply, "Two?" Maybe that will bring about clarification.

@distraction - I think that someone a million pages back mentioned that LISA was the name of some realworld AI/routine/project/thingy and that there was another one named Alice , both OOG.
