I caught that too, I pretty distinctly remember masky having black lenses or mesh on the inside of his mask. The fact that it's suddenly white stood out to me. Provided hoody gave him the mask, why would he want to blind tim? *I assume that's what happened, tim seemed to be acting a bit blind in the woods, as someone has already pointed out.*

I may be completely wrong, here, but wouldn't the infared have some sort of baring on that? I mean, black things that are shiny look lighter on infared- maybe the mesh is just reflecting the IR better than the color spectrum.

 		Am I the only person who was questioning why Jay went out to Rosswood at night and just started shouting Tims name?

I understand he went to find Tim but why did Jay choose Rosswood? Did he check everywhere else like the hospital? Usually Jay will explain this sort of stuff.. which brings up again why wasn't there any kind of text explanation or quick little "Battery died, we managed to get out and are now changing locations" at the end

And why would he go around shouting when he should obviously know there are a lot of BAD and horrible things in those woods? Has he not learned anything!?

This entry might have been short and 'lacking' according to a lot of you guys but something doesn't feel right.. and I think it's set the tone for the next couple of videos..

Jay lacks insight. He knows those woods are trouble, but his friend (I think) being in trouble means more than danger. As for the yelling, I'm assuming this is a nervous reaction. He wasn't really thinking past "I gotta find Tim and get the heck outta Dodge these woods, in that order. Step one: Find Tim. Fastest way to find somebody? Call them." He kinda forgot "There's a creepy puppeteer running around here, as well. Plus, I saw The Operator here once before. Maybe I should keep my presence on the DL."

 		Okay so regarding the eyeholes, a lot of people on tumblr are saying that they have the same mask and the eyeholes sit too low on the face. So what we see past the holes are really the cheekbones.
Which... sorta makes sense but doesn't account for the fact that masky did NOT look like that in previous entries.
In previous entries/photos the eyes are black, like this:

But why would the mask change so much between entries? I don't think this is an issue of the night vision distorting the color.

I don't think it's a color distortion, I think it's reflectivity. If the mesh is made of polyester, or something of the sort, it would be a little reflective in normal light. But IR acts differently than color spectrum light, so the IR gets completely reflected, thus making his eyes look white instead of black.

you're probably right. Matter of fact, masky did have the black lenses when he was first sighted in this entry. I think it's probably nothing then.

Jay chose Rosswood because Tim's medical papers said that's where he ran away to as a child, and we've seen Masky at Rosswood before. Jay also knew he was right to assume that Tim went to Rosswood because of TTA's text at the end of entry: "Where could he have gone?" or something like that.

Jay was calling Tim's name because a) he's a derp like that and b) Tim could have been in serious trouble after having a seizure, especially with the bad things in the woods that could hurt him. I think Jay was more concerned for Tim's well-being than his own; in entry #60.5 you can hear how frustrated and depressed he's become, and since entry #59 he probably felt really guilty. So I think he was just thinking about helping Tim, not protecting himself.

One more thought I had:
They once delayed an entry for a week or two so that Joseph could order an exact replica jacket so there were no discontinuities in the videos. Do you honestly think they'd make such a novice error?

 		If you look closely at the right hand eyehole, you can sort of see Tim's eye, which means his eyes looking white are some kind of lighting effect, not a blind-fold or anything like that.



Although, Masky was acting very blind. Jay was right in front of him, but Masky didn't notice and Masky was all reaching out with his arm, and he only noticed Jay was there once he touched him. I find this to be an interesting development.
