Why would they have to order another jacket? Also great entry.

Joseph was moving and the jacket was lost during the moving. The entry they were filming took place the same day as a previous entry so it would be a discontinuity error if he went from one jacket to another over the period of a few seconds.

Of course they upload an entry on the night I try to catch up on sleep.

So, Hoody has successfully puppeted Tim and Jay into working together (so it seems), and apparently the mask secretes conditioner, because there's no way someone's hair is going to look that good after a night (or however long) of running madly through a forest.

I was actually surprised Tim didn't get violent after waking up and seeing Jay there. This makes me think he's aware Jay himself isn't the real problem, and when he punched Jay it was more taking it out on him than anything else.

But that ending...I really wished we had more of a follow-up. I really don't want to wait another two weeks to find out what's going on.

Also, I just want to say that I found Geneaux's drunken posts to be very enlightening. I approve of the use of bear traps in this series. Very Happy

A curious frame...

Well, nothing, just ... pareidolia, I guess. I found it interesting that Jay did a scan around several times, reviewing slow these parts is something in the brush that looks like a person, yes, as ... someone shitting in the bushes ... hehe ... Look mom, I'm on youtube! Laughing

Must you ruin the pyramids?

fezstudios, the jacket had nothing to do with this entry. The original discussion was about Masky's mask and how it looked like the eyes were white in this video. I was using the jacket situation as a comparison; they've delayed entries based on inconsistencies before, so, why would they knowingly use the wrong Masky mask? On top of that, why would they have two Masky masks? It just doesn't seem logical to me, when one of the things they strive for most is consistency.

The big thing I'm wondering about is why so much distortion is coming off of Masky and Hoody.

New here..

Here's a few of my ridiculous thoughts and theories..

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
When Tim hallucinates, we see him leave, but he doesn't take the mask. We don't see the mask anywhere around his room. That is not to say he doesn't hang it up next to the door, along with his spare house key, but it seems like he doesn't have it. When he wakes up, he doesn't have it. Again, not to say it's not in his pocket or something, but the simplest answer is the best we have to go with. This seems to pretty heavily imply that Masky is in a lot of ways Hoody's minion.

My theory regarding this is that Tim's seizures and subsequent Masky persona are products of prolonged exposure to Slender Man. The medical record seems to imply that he's been suffering from Slender sickness for a very long time. It also seems that the pills he takes keep the more extreme symptoms of Slender sickness at bay (though he still has the tell-tale cough). Hoody is somebody who has been 'haunted' by the Operator, and has recognized that without action, he too could end up like Tim. Not wanting to take the risk of attacking the Operator himself, Hoody instead attempts to manipulate others towards it. At the beginning of the series, he is attempting to guide Alex towards the confrontation, which is why he uses Masky to keep Jay away from him. Alex eventually falls too far into the Slender madness, so he moves on to Jay. This is why later in the series, Masky seems to be targeting Alex to protect Jay. This is also why we keep finding empty pill bottles everywhere. Hoody is providing them to his marks, as a means of staving off the Slender-madness for as long as possible.

Another idea is that Alex and Tim and all of what's happened throughout the series have all been under the manipulation of Hoody, all with the intention of leading Jay somewhere, to confront the Operator. Jay is 'The Ark' which will lead Tim, Alex, and Hoody to a life without the Operator. For whatever reason, Jay is special.

The last idea is that Jay is dead or otherwise incapacitated, and these are the last few entries which are being uploaded by somebody else, which accounts for the lack of narrative, and other uncharacteristic differences.

Also, I didn't see this posted anywhere else in the thread, but did anybody else notice that the font and colors in the opening card were particularly sharper than usual?

Perhaps giving a bit more credence to the theory that it was posted by somebody else?

2 Jays and 2 Tims. That is why they bot have no memory, because their duplicates work for TO and manipulate the films. After the actors are done filming, the REAL Tim and Jay are teleported to the location, and their clones are warped out.

They had to post the Entry when I wanted to catch up on sleep? That's just fantastic. Anyway, here's my thoughts on the Entry:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

1. The wait for this was too long. I know that this was because of OOG reasons, but still.

2. I disliked how Jay didn't put text at the beginning of the video. For those who don't follow the Twitter (everybody on this forum, including me does though. Right?) this entry could be very confusing.

3. I used to think that Hoody and Masky were a team, but now I think that Hoody is just taking advantage of Tim's unfortunate condition.

4. I fifth-ed the name "Hoody Hut".

5. This entry reminded me of a Season 1 entry, which means that it was good. Especially the part when Jay first sees Tim. it reminded me of the "Alex...?" "*tackle!*" from Entry 18.

6. I think that Tim asked if the camera was working to see what happened that night. I didn't get the feeling that Tim was mad at Jay.

You're watching that one on higher quality than the others. Crank the YouTube video size down to 240p and it'll be just as fuzzy as always.

No. He's right. Entry # 60 and entry # 62 are of an approximate time (youtube compression will be similar) and with the same quality, one is blurry and the other not.

Just double checked by watching both on the highest setting. The difference is still very noticeable.
