 		 TALL MAN AWARDS 2011
Like the Oscar, just taller
And it came the time when I was bored and thought this up!!

Due to the large number of Slender Blogs, Vlogs and other media outlets, I decided to do this little fun thing here!! Yay. Drum Roll.

In the last few months, there has been a MYRIAD of new slendershows in all kinds of different media. How to find out which are good and which are bad? How to find out which ones to spend your time on? Some, addicted to our Slender Friend, check various blogs daily, others stick to the main 3. With this award, we will honor some of the newer shows. Who is nominated? Well, EVERYBODY is!! Who chooses which shows win? EVERYBODY DOES!! Democracy. Yay.

You guys can go and fill out the form below and post them on here. Tell us who your favorite show is, which has the best special effects, which the best actor, and Why does he make move now!

There will be various awards. The BIG TALL MAN IN GOLD AWARD is pretty much for the best Slenderfiction series (blog or vlog) around. The other awards will be TALL MAN SILVER AWARDS, for best vlog, best blog, best acting etc. I will patiently await somebody insane enough to design an award statue, and the winner is allowed/sent a custom version to include on his/her vlog/blog/whatever or just print it out and frame it/put it on a t-shit to wear and impress his friends (sadly, unfiction forums is not able to send out real statues due to the current high price of silver and gold).

IMPORTANT: Additionally, the big three (Marble Hornets, Tribe Twelve and Everyman Hybrids) will be awarded with an HONORARY DIAMOND TALL MAN - as they are so popular they would completely flood the poll, they cannot be voted for, but due to their insanely high quality, not to mention their inspiration for most if not all Slendy-Blogs out, they are rewarded with a cool diamond award in jpeg form (sadly, unfiction forums is not able to send out real statues due to the current high price of diamonds).

Voting closes on JULY 10!! All votes must be in until then!! YOU CAN ONLY VOTE FOR ONE SHOW, so take your pick carefully!! Every category must be voted for - if you do not read blogs, then take your time to read some up and then make your pick!!!

Yeah, yeah, unoriginal, but it's gotta go to Marble Hornets.

BEST SLENDERMAN 2011 (Award for the best Slenderman in video or pictures around)

The Andersen Journals. Their Slender Man's usually in the background, but when he starts showing up prominently, OH LAWDY.

BEST SPECIAL EFFECTS 2011 (both vlog and blog)

Tribe Twelve, hands down.
(I don't know if you mean "both" or "either," but if you want a blog one, too, it's "Fabulous" for actually having the audacity to mess with people's comments)

BEST ACTING ENTIRE CAST 2011

Clearly, this award must go to 2080twentyeightY I'm really not caught up enough in the vlogs well enough to know for sure, but I'm probably going to go with The Andersen Journals

BEST SINGLE ACTOR OR ACTRESS 2011

Surprisingly, I think I'm going to go with Noah/Adam. Sure, his lines make you giggle, but on a deeper level, it doesn't really sound like he's reading scripted lines and most the giggly stuff falls under Mostly Narmless: as cheesy-sounding as it is, I think that that's how most people would actually react.

BEST BLOG CHARACTER 2011

Perhaps ironically, I'm not choosing an actual blogger. The best character I've come across in the blogs is Redlight, originally from White Elephants.

BEST SINGLE BLOG POST 2011 (only one post - link to it must be included)

"Memento," from Breeze in Monochrome NIGHT. It's just a wordless picture, but it's sudden, leaves what exactly happened ambiguous, but the implications are bad no matter what. Also, it's a very good photograph.

I don't know whether to go with a handle or his real name for this, but I'm voting for the writer of Dreams in Darkness, Maleorderman, Deja vu Dreamer, and Adam's Epic Blog. Yeah, he writes all four, and he's put a lot of effort into them. And he plays ALL the characters posting with actual story information.

Please re-read the rules. THE BIG THREE are out of the running, as they would likely win all the prizes. They will get honorary awards though. Smile
Also, the deadline for the first "post" of the series or blog must be DURING OR AFTER THE FIRST OF JUNE 2010.

 		Apologies. I was a bit rushed for time and may have skimmed the rules a bit. I'll go back and do edits and whatnot.

Incidentally, does this also mean that JAF, ST, DiD, and The Tutorial are out? Because I personally think that there are enough good blogs now to compete with them. (Although I'd have to check, but I think DiD started in June, not after).

Also, the question about whether you want both a blog and a vlog, or either a blog or a vlog for special effects remains.

 		...Can I vote for the Andersen Journals for everything, and just omit the categories that don't apply? It's the only series I watch other than MH and I love it so and want it to win everything. I'll fill out the ballot for now and if this isn't allowed, just let me know and I'll vote for someone in every category or change it up or whatever.

 		@ SLENDERSNIPER: Please read the rules thoroughly, as your votes for MH/EMH/TT are out.

@ Kempest: You can name any series which came out during or after JUNE 01 2010. The 2011 is only indicative of which year the awards were handed over. Cool

@ EVERYBODY: Please read the rules thoroughly!! Your votes can only count if you vote for ALL categories. Why? If 85% would go "I don't read blogs!" then it could be that we have only five people voting for blogs. Laughing

If you guys didn't pick any blogs yet, I'd encourage you to check some out that are recommended all over the forums and then make up your mind. You still have until JULY 10 to vote, and I won't use any of your entires prior, so much time for editing them up. Cool

ALSO, some of you put single characters in the best actors category, please mention from which series they are, as I cannot watch every series out and some guys have the same names. Wink
As for FX, both vlogs and blogs count. Just make up your mind which effect you liked best.
