I've never seen demolition signs like that before; however, they are all different. At a campground I went to people just took tape, wrote "I'm dead" on the tape, and taped it around the tree. So, maybe the people marking them are a bit creative? I don't know. I'll listen to the videos now.

At request, I looked at video 2, and I've heard those kinds of pops before. In one of my recordings, to be more specific; though I believe it is now deleted. But it, too, was a recording of the forest.

Edit 2:
On his 4th video I asked why he was filming in the rain, to which he responded:
"No particular reason, That's just how the weather ended up to be when I decided to film."

So I don't think rain in video 4 has any significance at all.

Something about video 1 strikes me as odd. I've always focused on the tent, but now I'm looking for something more.

It's the tree, it's dead, ugly and uncolorful, while every tree around it is green and full of life. I wonder why they didn't cut it down. I think the shape of the tree itself has something to do with it, too, but I can't place it.

Also, the pictures in the second video, that flash, are considerably older.



It's notable that is flashes twice, and after 5 tries I managed to pause it on the second flash; it appears to be identical to the first one. (see: housecompare2)

Sorry for the double post, but I feel this is really important. So important I want people to click the thread sooner because it says new post.

In video 2, it says "I don't remember this clearing here,
At least not with that house there."

We've always been looking at the building, thinking that's what he means.
But go to the comments.
"The trees are the home of many, I could very well be intruding."

My thinking is he's not focusing on the house; rather, a nest or another home of animals.

I recorded the audio from all the videos, in order, from 1-8, with ~5 second spaces between each for easy distinguishing.

In video 2 at about 8-9 seconds he shifts focus to two small white objects to the right of the house that look like windmills. To the right of these I think I see something ducking behind a bush but I'm not sure.

In the comments he says his camera is taking photos at the same time, would the camera flash explain the sudden lighting changes.

Given that the videos are named after an extinct bug, are we looking for something else that should be extinct?

At this stage i am not sure what I am seeing anymore, although the tree in video 1 does look like Freddy Kreugers glove from the angle at the end of the video.

Looked through them all again to look for any common characteristics, and heres what I found:

Up until the last video, all of them are films of dead treas. (Which is incidentally something the trees have in common with the xyloiulus.)
