I'm with you on that one. I been lurking on this one as well. Seems interesting, and while I'm no good at codes and ciphers and all that fun jazz, I'd be more than willing to go get a drop if needed in New Jersey. Especially central NJ, as I'm nearly dead center of the state, lol.

and thinking about old loose ends (undiscovered drops, truecrypt volume, otp.txt from CD1)

Some new theories about SCRAMBLED MESSAGES: (just bumping terms)

TSV-2 scambled
"Voice scrambling called "Midian"
Rolling Code voice inversion
"spread spectrum" or something like cordless phones use to secure calls
You should ask someone who knows amateur radio and shit since this sounds pretty much like a ham voice scrambler like this:

Seems like it could be base band inversion, but we don't know what the inversion point is. But this isn't my bag so forgive the guesswork.

4. Distorted Uffie - First Love with bad signal and then it sound like changing stations on radio.

Do you remember plusy? Little furry guy (lab rat or elephant) we destroyed on Rhode Island old Swan Point Cemetery drop site?

We will never know if that plushy was there to mark Geocache nearby, Mark where old grave was or was put there by PM, but it was quite few meters away from actual drop bag.

Another thing worth mentioning is that new web page appeared from nowhere:

Somebody (we dont know who) posted it on /x/ and showed it to one of our otp22 guys. For now we suspect it is troll. Site is changing and we are monitoring it. Until there isnt any unquestionable evidence that it is connected to phone numbers we are considering it troll attempt.

First of all, this IS NOT a baby, it's a male adult.
The pitch was pushed up 12 half-tones, here it is normal

Do you have any advice for us where to look to decipher those scrambled messages? We hope that progression of distortion of "baby mesage" at the end might be some kind of clue.

Now we have actual person answering phones and asking for the number. based on what number we tell him we got some response (number, word or something completely else)

To reach Message Desk Relay use Agent number 16044

When the guy answers he askes you about the number, usually he dont talk at all, he only wants number (there are some reports of chatting with him, some people heard more people in the office, one old lady, classical music; some were redirected to other numbers in same "company" one guy was "screened" whatever that is).
When you tell him the number he gave different answers (number, city, or he tells you that you have to call some other city)
We have no idea what purpose message desk like this could serve in present time of modern computers.
