That definitely looks like a dog to me. I'm really interested to see where this goes since it's something I haven't seen in a series before.

This is taken straight from the very first Black Dog blog called Gaining Perspective: "Got in to work today, and one of our smoke detectors was going off. No fire, no smoke. It took over five and a half hours before it got shut off. The pitch was just so that it rattled in my skull. I work in a restaurant, and I'm the guy in the front of house. This of course set everyone on edge. I had so many angry guests, my crew was upset, and the tone was just rattling my brain. I can still feel it."

I may be over interpreting and seeing things, but it is possible the dog is not so much running away from her as leading her to someone.

Hey guys, that was me. Been lurking for a while here on the board, and thought Id play along and offer input legitimately.

The smoke and ashes mentioned intrigues me. Isn't the schtick of the black dog in fear mythos to bring reminders of ones past? Could Story have been involved in a fire when she was younger? Also the video where she says she has secrets, that probably has a lot of importance here with the black dog.

If PM is lurking as well, I gotta say well done. This is one heck of a great series. Good on ya.

This might be a little early to say, particularly because I haven't even started watching this yet--not sure if I'll have time in the immediate future--but, because it can only help, I'm getting a vibe from this like it could be the next big series.

On the off-chance that I didn't somehow kill this thing by liking it, I've decided to start watching, & have just finished up the 2nd video.

Poor Slenderman is upset because he doesn't have any fingernails.

In any case, when does the Twitter get introduced?

I know I'm woefully behind the times here, but Story's logic regarding the blood is really bad.

1. The nail clippings & the blood do not have to come from the same event. It would not be hard at all to dip them in blood.
2. It's not terribly common to get blood after cutting your nails, but it's not exactly impossible either. I've had it happen where I get the clippers too close to my finger & cut it.
3. I've also had instances where the nail caught on something & broke, exposing a bloody chunk of nail. Which is gross & painful, but the point is that it happens.
4. If someone was weirdo enough to send real finger nail clippings, why would they be so squeamish that they have to fake blood? Unless the former is not considered sending biohazards through the mail. I know that the latter is.

I think the subtlety of this series makes it feel so different from the rest of the series out there, and that is in my opinion what makes it so awesome.
