Looks like it starting to pick up the pace a bit. Getting pretty intense with the dog shadow and where it's heading. Hopefully it stays this good if not getting better.

Holy crap. What an entry that was. This series just keeps getting better and better I swear.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I guess it's confirmed then. Black Dog.

"The Dog appears to stalk (and sometimes kill or attack) those bearing large, well-kept secrets. It will mark them with two scars
on their face (similar to tears) and then bring them objects related to their secret."

Taken from http://thefearmythos.wikia.com/wiki/The_Black_Dog

Although it doesn't ring terrifying, it is definitely suspenseful and unnerving like the Slender Man. It also means this series has a chance to go 'psychological thriller' more so than most other series.
The prospects are exciting.

So she's gonna start recieving objects pertaining to her big secret. I still wonder how the mask that she felt "belonged to her" fits in.

Aaand Story's been marked on the face, it's official. I got nothing else here.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Although I wonder what people thought of the actress wandering around with blood on her face and in her pj's. Bound to get some odd stares when you make these series. LOL.

The picture had the following written on it:

VFAgS1NTSE1TTIBSIE5XUk9PQUFF STORY, YOU KNOW

From the content of the video I assume it's a coded message. I'm currently working on it.

The combination of numbers and letter, both lower and upper case, complicate it slightly. Unlike the first code, which was a book identifier, googling it yields nothing.

Letters included(frequency): A(1), B(1), E(2), g(1), F(3), I(2), k(1), N(1), P(1), Q(1), S(2), T(3), U(2), V(1), X(1), 1(2), 5(1), 9(1)

It's possible it's a substitution cypher, though it would be quite complex due to all the characters potentially involved (upper case and lower case alphabets, plus numerals to at least 9). The lower case letters are either significant to the code or a can be disregarded, though I'm better on the former. The numbers also, and their scarcity is intriguing.

First off, awesome video. Still love the production value. Editing was great as well. I dislike sitting through self-searching idle awkward silences.

The code though. I wish I wasn't so utterly terrible and lost when it comes to codes. I'll follow along but I can't offer any actual help... I know it seems unlikely, but maybe Story herself is the only one that can solve this. Because of

Has anyone isolated the blackout frames to see if there's anything hidden in them?

Nothing.

Scratchpad time!

My first instinct to decoding this was to run it through a Base64 decoder because of the numbers and lowercase letters, which gives us this:
TP KSSHMSL€R NWROOAAE

Ran that through ROT13/Caesarian using all numeric values for N, which came out to nothing.

The code itself is 28 characters long. If you divide them up into halves, the sequence is:

VFAgS1NTSE1TTI
BSIE5XUk9PQUFF

More scratchpad.

Looking at the B in the middle of the sequence, there are three characters on either side until you hit a number:

1TTIBSIE5

The tail end of the sequence looks like it might be a repetition of the pattern:

9PQUFF__

Only pattern I can really discern right now, might be a step in the right direction.

Edit: Looking at other chunks in their own separate sequences.

VFAg
XUk
the next lowercase letter in the sequence would be n

VFAgS1

The S1 seems to be the odd man out as far as sequences go. Maybe that's part of the key...

Could the numbers just be spaces? Or would that be too simple?

Also I tried to decode it as a single and double transposition cipher (both with and without numbers) using various forms of STORY YOU KNOW as a decryption key and got nothing.

If the code had spaces, they would either use the same character consistently or be written into the code itself as an actual space or line break.

I'm going to work on this some more today. Angle I'm going to first look at is using the numbers as a sort of checksum variable that subtracts or adds to the value of the characters following it previously.

Anyone thought of using The Illiad as a source for cracking the new code? Maybe it builds of the previous one rather than being a new one altogether?
