Also here are some interesting sciencey definitions that I found online:

immunology
-An asymptomatic person or animal harboring the pathogen, and acts as a vector transmitting the pathogen to others.

genetics
-A heterozygous individual bearing an unexpressed defective gene.

-An organism possessing a recessive gene for a trait, hence, not expressing the trait.

chemistry
-A catalytic substance that serves as a vehicle for an element or group of atoms from one compound to another.

this is a bit out there, but maybe these people that invaded lee's house are trying to help the rake, which, being an other worldly/supernatural being, may just want to return to where it came from (wherever that may be), and lee is, in some way, in possession of, or is himself, whatever it is that may allow the rake to return. And, now that i think about it, maybe the rake is looking for some state of ascension to some higher state of being. this is actually considerably out there and very unlikely now that i've finished typing it.

I'm not sure what to call them, but until they attempt to identify themselves through video or threat I don't like the idea of calling them the Order. That's DH's thing. Good stuff.
