Huuuugh... I'm rattled now.

I was working on translating the spanish in the notebook in the fourth vid, about 3:00 A.M. local time, and a FUCKING BOOKSHELF TOPPLES OVER IN THE ROOM NEXT TO ME. A bookshelf that has been diligently doing its job, without complaint, for MORE THAN A YEAR.

Ugh.

Oh, and SOMBRA CRIUTURA means "Shadow Creature," BTW.

So, yeah. Dealing with shadow creatures at three in the morning in a quiet house, and this shit happens. Great. I didn't need sleep anyway.

*EDIT: Well, since I can't sleep, I thought I'd try to continue translating. Here's what I can get out of the notebook so far.

Quote:
Duermen en sus sue tras se despierta a tu paso. Te serviran de guia en la oscuridad. Que teman tendrá en los relojes criatura--

And that's all I can make out from the video. There's more, but I can't find a stable enough frame yet. That translates [roughly] to:
Quote:
They sleep in your dreams after you wake up in your path. We Will guide you in the dark. That fear will have on the [child/creature] watches--

So, there's that.

IDK if it's just the weird and disturbed nature of the writing, but the grammar is really, really bad. like it doesn't make sense at all bad.

Only the middle sentence makes any kind of sense. I wonder if it's purposefully like that, or it's just weak production.

Honestly, I think it's just that I'm shitty at translating Spanish anymore. High school Spanish class is nearly a decade behind me. That, and I think that the writer is an English speaker, as some of the lines follow English grammar and structure, I think. Again, it's been forever. I played around with it a bit, and here's what I've got now.

Duermen en sus sue tras se despierta a tu pase. Te servirán de guia en la oscuridad. Que teman tendrá en los relojes criatura das te. La criatura sombra espera--

To be noted, "Reloj" means clock or watch. Now, I may have fucked up the translation, as it's hard as hell to make out the writing with him swinging the camera around. Here's the best I could make out:

Obviously, it's a terrible composite of shots. If anyone can do better, PLEASE DO.

Thanks for the composite. I'm a native Spanish speaker, so I might be able to get a more effective translation... let's see:

"Duermen en sus sueños. Se despierta a tu paso. Te serviran de guia en la oscuridad. Que te mantendra en los relojes cruitura -"

and that's as far as i feel comfortable transcribing- now for the translation:

"They sleep in his/her/its dreams. It/she/he wakes at your pace. They shall serve you as a guide in the darkness, which will keep you in the clocks, creature - " the rest is too distorted for me to attempt translation.

Is there anything hidden within the first video that has problems? The symbol reminds me of a snake eating it's tale... supposed to represent immortality.

Hi, been lurking on this. A Google search on "Kizis Pasado" brought up this blog whose last entry mentions all those names in the journal: El Kizis Pasado, Sombra Criutura, and El Escribo. Haven't taken a close look at it but figured I'd point it out:

Great find! It explains exactly what the words mean. It doesn't mention the symbol. The one image on the site won't load for me.

Jeremy uploaded the complete pages!
So, could you please translate the rest of the text! Wink
