What about entry #60? That was about three months ago (better than a year anyway).

That's what he was referring to.
Before Entry #60, no attack had happened for a year.

Hey guys! First time post but very long time lurker.

To be honest, and this is one of the few times I would say this, but I agree with Provado. This entry could have evolved into something else or they could have had this conversation while they were already AT Rosswood park at the beginning of the entry. I don't know why they had to leave for 3 weeks just to decide to go back, kinda annoying.

Also did anyone else notice that this is the same street/allyway or whatever it is, that Tim walked down in "Extraction" which to me is interesting that he of all people would choose that location... Well at least it does to me.

I'd be fine if this entry was shot along with 62 and posted within a week after, and entry 64 would be posted in place of 63 today. The momentum is not being catered to, but I will admit that in the grand scope of a full viewing, it won't matter that much.

All I hope for is that the storyline doesn't continue as linearly as I've been seeing these past few entries. When they go to Rosswood or encounter some phenomenon, I feel at least some new element should be added. I hope very much so that they don't go back, visit the shack, something shows up; I would like it to be a bit more deviant in the sense that it is not immediately predictable by everyone here.

Perhaps in addition to visiting the shack, there is an addition of other sequences and scenes. Perhaps unexpected plot points arise. That's all I hope for.

Oh you're right, I misread that.

And well, I do agree that the entries have been a little to slow to update, but I can understand if Trosephim is really busy right now. At least it lets us enjoy the series a bit more before it ends.

And like Karmisael said, it's almost like the peace before the storm.

The dump trucks and streetlights are distinct enough that it would be clear in a photo or video. I wonder if that's why they picked this location.

In game, it was Tim who chose the location, and Jay even remarks that it seemed like a terrible idea to meet there - and yet Tim seems totally together and on the ball the whole conversation. He's clearly thought this through, so you're forced to wonder: *is* there a good reason to have met there?

He says they're meeting there because of his work schedule, but should we believe this? He sure seems a lot less paranoid than Jay.

Tim just got off from work, and we know from the tweets that this location is near the antique shop. We also know that Tim once visited the antique shop back in Entry #52, and the woman there said that she saw him "looking for his ... " something, before she stopped herself and said something else.

We also know from Jay's antique shop break-in that a truck pulled up from behind the antique shop and a man moved some of the stuff from antique shop into the truck, and then drove away.

We see trucks in the background in this entry, albeit more so dump trucks and gravel trucks and whatnot.

So my guess is that Tim works for a moving or storage company or something, and the industrial area in Entry #63 is just a short walk from his work. The series has placed a strong emphasis on the fact that Tim has a job and that it's very important to him. The antique shop visit established that someone, possibly another employee of Tim's company, visited the shop when Jay was breaking in. We also know that Tim visited the antique shop once in #52, maybe as part of his job, to let them know that the company would be picking stuff up a few months later.

But why does it matter what company Tim works for? Well maybe an item from the antique shop comes into play later? My guess is that Jay remembers seeing it at the shop, and learns that Tim's company moved it to a warehouse. So then he has to get Tim to retrieve the item, risking his job in the process.

Stretch-y, but it's plausible in my mind.

what a fucking joke this was. this should have been the intro to a greater entry.

"oh hey tim, you're one of my best friends irl, i see you all the time but lets take 3 weeks to record a one-take conversation" get the fuck outta here. the downtime is clearly them writing dialogue that should have been written during the break between seasons.

i can officially say that i don't care about the waits between entries anymore. i might just stop watching until it's all done, because the only reason i'm dissapointed after every entry is knowing we got jack shit filler and another 3 weeks to go before we get more jack shit filler.

they set up all these opportunities in the entries to do amazing things and just ignore them because they're short on time and leave them as dialogue heavy entries. that's no excuse to me.

call me an entitled brat or a troll, whatever, i don't care. the burden is on the creators to keep me watching, it's not on me to force my interest in things.

i'm a diehard marble hornets fan but i can only take so much abuse, and this may have been the final "Fuck you" straw for me. i'm tired of this lackluster shit. i've seen what they could do (season 2). if you want to give me dialogue heavy entries, make them longer. i'm not going to be satisfied with something you pretty much gave away through tweets. all this is is a broadened explanation of the "tim is going to help me now" tweet

cool, get off this forum then. nobody cares. I appreciate everything troy joseph and tim do to even keep this series going.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
by the way, if you even read the last blog post from troy, he said that things have been backed up lately but now entries are going to be coming sooner and at a steadier pace

i think it was a good entry. if you are complaining because it took too long you obviously have not been doing a whole lot to occupy your time during the wait. it might have been long, but i hope you know there are other things to do than browse unfiction and wait around for a new entry.

this establishes that tim and jay are now working together whether they like it or not and that they are going to be looking for hoody. the next entry will probably happen at rosswood park and crap will probably go down. this has just left me more excited for the next entry.

Yeah, I guess so. Real life stuff does come first. I only wish they would have planned all of this in between seasons, so it wouldn't be so busy, you know?

Also, the calm before the storm usually happens less than a month before the storm. So....yeah. XD

I want to believe, but no... Just no...
I'm not getting my hopes up for that.

Really this was a pretty good entry. Advanced the plot, explained why things took time to move along, established some tension between Jay and Tim, and if something else really does happen this week, even better.

Tim never forgot, he's a liar after all...and Jessica is tied up in the warehouse he works at that's why it's so important he not loose the job.

Tim: ...but we've got a bigger problem to deal with right now. There's somebody out there that is an immediate threat to both of us.
Jay: Someone who's probably watching us right now, now that you mention it. [emphasis mine]

Why the singular there? We know that there are two threats, Hoody and the Operator. They could have been talking about either one, here. I'm interpreting it as a reference to Hoody, for the moment, but isn't it troubling that they seem to be unwilling to mention the larger, more supernatural threat?

Well, you have to remember: For the entire series, people have been reluctant to mention The Operator. This could have something to do with how he screws with memory, but I think it's more because of the fear towards him and his incomprehensible, inhuman nature. The characters know he exists, but they can't comprehend something like TO could exist in our world, so they try to blot him out of their mind and focus more on Hoody and Alex, the more comprehensible villains.

I wouldn't talk about him a lot either. If I was being stalked for years by an inhuman Eldritch Abomination, I wouldn't want the subject to ever come up in conversation.

Here comes the fantastic pravado rage wall of text! Bring some popcorn!
And yeah. I get that the wait sucks, the short entry sucks, but they know us, we can make a three page theory off a single frame. (the whole ark fiasco)
They make masses of cash off the channel. But of course they still have life and all.
I think of it this way, I'm watching a movie in progress. Some fantastic movies took years, maybe decades to create, but were received amazingly because of the investments put into it.
/essay
Stopping short there.
