I'm only 13 years old, and I don't feel that my series is quite horrid. Also, I have a separate vlog, and I'm not telling people that I'm the creator. And the reason is because if people know that I'm the creator, they won't bother watching it because they'll know that the creator is below the age of fifteen. And so far, the one where I don't have any appearance is doing much better than the one where I actually make an appearance. I'm not trying to make people anxious to know what it is, just trying to prove a point. I'll tell everyone that it's me soon.

What's your series?

The one that I make an appearance in is called "It's the Boogeyman. No big deal." The first half of the plot revolves around a blog, so that's where you should go. All of the videos are posted there, too.

Guys... the quote option is there so that if you reply to something from weeks ago you can quote it to keep the flow of the conversation.

When what you are replying to is RIGHT ABOVE what you are replying YOU DON'T NEED TO QUOTE IT. Just hit reply.

These giant quote nests clog the system, and especially when they have images and videos in them they really slow down the load times.

Yeah but maybe it´s because they are often way more inexperienced, especially when we compare them to the works of the "older" creators (who often are doing this for years already or are studying filmmaking or storywriting and so on).
So in conclusion we (or rather the older creators) should try to help and assist them and give them tips and proper constructive critizism, so that they learn and can improve properly and keep on trying, even if they fail at the beginning. And we should show them a bit more respect, because at least they tried to make something on their own, even if it is not as good as we used it to be from the "bigger ones".

That's what I usually do, Tails. Thing about that is, and I mean this when I say it, 100% of the children I've interacted with who are making their own series see constructive criticism as "hating on them". They take no responsibility for the quality of their shit and firmly believe that because they tried, they're exempt from criticism or any kind of negative opinion. This is why I'm predisposed to being very skeptical, if not outright cynical of the quality of a series from someone not out of middle school. In fact, I've never seen a good series from someone 12 years old or younger.

Ok i see where you´re coming from, needless to say that many of the younger ones also need to learn that constructive criticism is not the same as "hating on them", that them trying is not an excuse for them thinking to be exempt from criticism or any kind of negative opinion and in some cases they need the older ones to give them a (metaphorical) " boot" for their attitute, too. It´s always a give-and-take-basis on both sides.

I understand you. When I first joined this fandom, I basically wanted to become the new Marble Hornets. I expected REALLY good criticism for my series, because of how many people had liked it at my school. Of course, I raged a lot, because I wanted to be the best, and I claimed as well that they were "hating on me". However, I've learned from my mistakes, and have learned to except any type of criticism, whether it be good or bad, and use it to improve my series. For example, if someone says something bad, I take note of what they didn't exactly like, other than my age, because I obviously can't control that, but I mean if it's something like acting, distortion, if I was copying another series on accident that I don't watch, or if they just thought the video in general was boring. I'm honestly glad I restarted my series, because now, I am very experienced, I've taken a lot of advice from the Darkharvest crew, Adam (Tribetwelve), Ryan (Weepingthorns), and a little advice from Cochinosanchez (Akoolstick). I've learned that you've got to work with what you've got, and not to give up. I raged so many times during the filming process and post-production, and in the end, just saying "fuck it", and making some crappy video. If anyone's reading this that's starting a new series, please, do not act like me. I fucked up, and now, I'm probably the slenderverse's example of a bad series. If they give you advice, or post constructive criticism, I know, it may seem as if they're being a douche because it's your series, and you think it's amazing, but trust me, if someone from the verse over the age of 13 says you need help with your series, YOU NEED HELP. Also, don't get confused between people trying to help you, and complete troll assholes. Also, although I may not be as experienced as Marble Hornets, Darkharvest, or Tribetwelve, I've spoken to a lot of creators, taken advice, and watched for technique. I'm always here, and I'd be more than happy to help you. So please, new creators, take it easy.

You're all wrong. Shaun Torrence is the shittiest series ever. Seriously, the guy just rips off fucking EveryManHybrid then jerks off to his own anime-based proxy for several episodes before just quitting. What a fucking loser. Then he had the fucking gall to start another series and act like he's somebody else by wearing a mask.

Seriously, fuck that guy and his series.

what is the other series he made?
