Our Imagination

A discussion I am hoping that will make more to come, I just had an epiphany on the reason Slender Man mostly targets children. A theory if you will. Now, not sure if this has been talked about, but this involves children's imagination. Due to the amount of Slender stories coming in fast, most of those stories always blame the earliest known stories for mentioning Slender Man, which he comes to the current stories. Thus the Tulpa effect which the more people believe the more likely Slendy comes to us. However, this only seems to affect those that have already encountered our upper class abomination. Meaning that he definitely encountered most of the protagonists when they were children. But why them? My theory is that in one form or another, they all demonstrated a above average creativity. Or as I am now getting to the point, imagination. Children's imagination are at their apex due to them believing in everything with such vigor. Such an incredible amount of imaginative energy to the point that these kids can conjure up anything in their heads, this was bound to catch the attention of Slender Man himself. It is the imagination of children that brings out the monster and thus why they are targeted more likely. What does he do with them once he captures the targeted children? I don't know. But as we are all aware, those that survived will soon enough meet up with him again in time. Wanting to finish what he started with his victims. Hopefully my theory will be read by everyone, including those (in game) being hunted by Slender Man himself. And thus arm themselves with this form of knowledge to at least figure out how to utilize it. Other than that, let me hear your thoughts and opinions on this matter Smile.
