I know this is rude to say, but part of the fun I have here is seeing how hard I can tweak noses before I get banned. I fully expect to be banned because I just said that, but whatevs.

You guys realize you sound totally ridiculous and stupid when you say stuff like that, right? I mean, UF has a lot of obsessives, and you all take it WAY too seriously, but this is completely over the line. Arguing over whether there's a face in meaningless distortion, when it's obviously pareidolia screwing with you?

I like Marble Hornets, and I like TTA videos, but arguing whether mud squiggles spell TTA or whether broken branches in trees spell ARK or whatever the hell tiny insignificant detail you're choosing to focus on this week is RIDICULOUS.

Anyway, there. I said it. I've been holding that in a LOOOONNGGG time, but you guys are seriously... SERIOUSLY taking this past the point of reasonable fandom and into the realm of insane obsessives.

Consider your noses tweaked.

Hey, I saw the face the very first time I saw the video! It's one thing to claim it's not a face if you're seeing it pointed out in a still frame, but it's another thing to watch the video itself and somehow miss the face in motion and then go on to insult those who saw it.

It's too early to make that call yet.

Indeed.
Last time we saw him, he was in some sort of trance and driving away from Jay to an unknown location.

I don't think he's gone. Tim left under his own power. That would be weird if the characters who are "gone" were attacked by the Operator, left alone, and then disappeared. Granted, we haven't seen it happen, but I don't see the Operator giving people time to get their affairs in order. If he was in a trance, I think it was more like a Masky situation than a bona fide disappearance.

Unless "gone" here is a reference to Alex's (possibly disingenuous) speech in season 1, which included Jay as a victim. That kind of gone, i.e., hanging out somewhere oblivious to any danger, might be interesting.

Perhaps "HE IS LOOKING FOR YOU" is Hoodie referring to himself in the third person.

Oh, the riverbed was dry... oops. Well nevertheless, I feel like there's something to the aquarium scene we haven't explored.

I never really thought about it, but how was Hoody able to keep tabs on both Jay and Tim by himself? He has to be getting help from someone else that we just don't know about yet.

Well, as long as you don't subscribe to the TTA=Hoody theory, that leaves TTA to monitor one or the other. This could also be a points towards the "TTA is multiple people" argument.

The only problem with the "multiple people" argument is that TTA always refers to themselves as "me" or "I". Unless they think of themselves as one collective being.

I don't think that's a problem in the argument if you consider the fact that not every TTA member has to have all the same motives for what they're doing. For example, Masky probably hates alex the most, even though they all seem to hate alex. So they can be actually talking about them individual self when they say I or Me, we just don't know which person its talking about.

I'm hearing "Bring me my megaphone."

It sounds to me like "Jay, what are you waiting for". The voice is definitely male though, it almost sounds like Tim's voice to me

Wow, the screaming face actually reminded me of this unused battle sprite from Mother 3.

Also, some of the static in the TTA videos (like this) always sounded very Giygas-esque to me. I wonder if Troy's played the Mother series?

It's a possibility. QUICK SOMEBODY AT GMX ASK TROY IF HE'S PLAYED EARTHBOUND

I never really thought about it, but how was Hoody able to keep tabs on both Jay and Tim by himself? He has to be getting help from someone else that we just don't know about yet.

The thing about TTA (conventional wisdom being that Hoody = TTA) is that he's always been two steps ahead of everybody else, with the possible exception of Alex at certain points. He's shown superior skill with technology (certainly including the "hacking" episodes, and potentially the digital theft of certain footage and the uploading of "noentry" to Jay's laptop, if you buy those theories) and there have been indications that he may have some supernatural prowess, or at least the wherewithal to use the Operator's influence to his advantage, most notably with his manipulation of Tim as Masky.

In any case, his real power seems to be knowledge. From the beginning, TTA has always seemed to know more than everybody else in the series about what was really going on. He's constantly reminding Jay that he's aware of what everybody's doing, going all the way back at least to "Exit" and running through to the present. Plus, he's shown that he's aware of a number of critical pieces of information that he's willing to share when it suits his purposes, like Tim's medical history, Alex being alive, and that pesky obsession with an "ark."

The point is that Hoody/TTA as a character is supposed to be the smartest, most knowledgeable one in the series, save perhaps the audience. He creates the cryptic messages. He's got the all the answers. How he comes by his information is unknown, but there's no reason that he shouldn't be able to keep track of two disoriented guys without needing help. That would be a weakness that he hasn't shown. So, I don't think that Hoody keeping up with both Tim and Jay is a stretch that implies help from an outside person; there's evidence that he could be doing it either technologically or supernaturally, but in terms of the character profile, I think the implication is that he's more than capable.

If the camera was underwater at the same time that Jay and Tim were at the tunnel, that raises some possibilities that we have a glimpse of the other side of the tunnel
In Entry #64, the riverbed that Jay and Tim crossed was completely dry.

It's also lower than the tunnel. Even if the camera had been set into it after a good rain, we'd still see weeds and dirt above the water-line. As it is, the water appears to be in the tunnel itself.

On a more serious note, maybe it is in the tunnel during a future or past event?
