What do you think the future holds for television?

What do you think will happen in the future in terms of television (as we go into the next decade). Question may be vague but that's because I'm interested in everyones opinions. Some questions to consider include, whether reality television die down, will NBC be good again, will the good old fashioned cartoon market still exist or will tweens devour it? and will the sitcom genre be dead by the time this decade ends. Just give me your taughts of what you think the future of television will be like.

A lot of weird channels with bad content, also the internet might to a certain extent replace some aspects of television.

reality shows get more extreme to get same viewers for a while - eventually fading out or going into dark places [criminals on death row doing stuff ala hunger games style....]
news becoming less simple and more interactive [you choose the type of news you get]
kids shows becoming MORE popular as it becomes more programmable as a semi-=baby sitter... [again programmable for content]
sitcom genre not dead, but ideas generally dying out and more situation based dramas... with lots more 'download content' repeats... and remakes [sigh]

More NetFlix model stuff

I think traditional television is slowly going the way of the dinosaur. Once NetFlix and YouTube are as easily watched as cable, everything will shift.
