I missed the chat, but I'm watching this and hopefully will try to take part in it if there's more to do.

Time to jump in, guys!

You have been invited, as a watcher. Your invitation, nor your replacement of MrM0nst3r
(also known as iamthemonster to the general web community)
has been made public to the others.
For all intents and purposes, you are MrM0nst3r now.
You will say nothing unless it is in character. Same handle as before.
We meet weekly. I will provide the link to the chat (randomized each time for anonymity) after all others have RSVPd, most likely this Wednesday.
You would fare well to research more of your namesake's methods and style...
If any of your friends wish to join, they will research and adopt fitting personas.
(Yes, I am keeping an eye on you...)
More information on this aspect, and on the chat itself, will come tomorrow.
For now, I have my own precious to attend to...

I will post the chat info as soon as I get it.
Edit: New secure e-mail

I think what Nat says: Develop some kind of a persona that fits the story (whatever that means?) and then join the chat session I guess?
I'm still uncertain as to what the missives are or what we should be trying to accomplish. I hope to know more by tomorrow.
Apparently it would be good if I "research more of my namesakes methods and style", so I guess my first step is to figure out who that is (assuming it's not Bruce Willis daughter).
Also: Who are "the others"? Because I'm pretty sure it's not uF'ers.

By persona do you think it means we should put ourselves in a similar situation? The email states that there are many sons. Maybe we pretend to be in the same circumstance.
If that's the case then I'm going with littleloki. Who found an unreadable cd clutched in the hands of a drowned man now looking for answer amount the men of the net.

I have absolutely no idea what it means, but that sounds like an excellent idea.

Sorry, I am extremely tired and having trouble getting ideas across.
Sam found a Cd in the hands of a hanged women.
I'm saying that we try to get him to open up to us by saying we are on similar situations. Thus my story about finding a cd in the hands of a deaf man like Sam did.

Oh, I didn't mean you. I mean I have no idea what THEY mean by persona. But I just recieved an email indicating that they actually mean serial killer. You need to adopt the identity of a serial killer.

Ok I admit I did not see that coming.
Do we need a real serial killer? Or one of our own invention?
Also with the whole sons of mechanic, maybe it's about copy cat killers?
