I think the Slenderman they used in this last episode fell a bit short of the mark. It seemed more odd than scary to me. Maybe it was the head, seemed way too big?

Just to clarify, I'm not saying it's bad or it's detrimental to the series. It's just that this series so far has been EXTREMELY GOOD with suspense, staging (walkie-talkie conversations, the shack, etc), editing, and the filming itself that it just didn't feel right.

I...I don't even...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Does this mean our protagonist is veering off into cult/proxy territory?

My head hurts now. I need to lie down.

This series is getting better and better.

"Don't you want answers?"
"Yes, but I know that this isn't it."

Best. Line. Ever.

After that last scene I'm salivating for the next video. I don't think I could go into a creepy house like that at dark. I just wonder what's waiting inside.

"How you save him depends on what you think saving entails." Wonder if the name in the house will turn out to be someone he already knows.

Best description yet.

EDIT: Is it idiotic that I laughed at the room with three toilets in it in the latest video?

Since our protagonist didn't seem to recognize the name of the next 'victim', I tried running "D. Willsted" through an anagram solver online to see if maybe the name was actually a hidden message, but didn't really see anything that jumped out at me. Only phrase that might be relevant is "Didst Well", but I feel like it's a stretch.

So the sound in "a29: the house" @1:44 seems to come from nowhere and is obviously there for a reason, especially considering the video blacked out. The description "i find the laughter unsettling" never made sense to me either. So I pulled the audio, reversed it, and lowered the pitch. It almost sounds like laughter, just very distorted. I was hoping someone with some real audio manipulation skills could look at this and see what they could make out of it. I've posted the original as well as the reversed/lowered version.

Any help from those with audio knowledge?
