First things first, I do not think that the videos themselves have been changed, but it looks like the descriptions are different from what they were before. I think that the descriptions were changed so as to make Ray appear crazy. Correct me if I am wrong.

Second thing: Wow, that video! I totally did not expect that. I guess that someone new is in charge of the account? Regardless if xe wants to stay out of the situation or not, something tells me that xe is going to get pulled in.

EDIT: The descriptions have undoubtedly been changed. Or, at least, the one for "╚╩╦", and probably a few others. Unfortunately, I don't have descriptions saved for any other of the videos.
EDIT2: Frack, the descriptions really have been changed! Just compare the current description for a:30 with the one (partially?) copied in my post on page 6. I'm working on a transcription now for all of the video descriptions. I'm also going to compare the video lengths and order to determine if the videos themselves have been altered. I'll edit this post when I am done.

Thanks for confirming that and attempting to figure out the true descriptions SignerJ it's really helpful for figuring out these videos. I don't know why they like to torture us so with these descrip changes but it is an interesting tool for the plot and has helped us come to an early (later found to seem correct) conclusion regarding who's trying to make who look like an asshole some videos back.

My more in-depth comments on the changed videos:

I can't determine where a:04 differs from "The Recovered Tape 2." If you think that you can, please go ahead and do so.

a:07 has a few more seconds of the head-thing added onto the end. It is essentially the first half of "The Altered Tape 2."

a:17 is shorter, but I think that is because the original a:17 was slowed down at parts. I'm not certain, though.

a:18 is sped up.

The first part of a:26 is gone.

The part where he takes the paper out of the pouch in a:30 is gone.

My personal analysis of the changes:

The description changes have been made in such a way as to make Ray look bad. In fact, I think that is the sole reason that they were made. They portray Ray as a person gone insane, someone who lost control of circumstances, and Jackson is portrayed as the sensible, loyal friend. I remember things going the exact opposite. Ray was the person in control, calm, collected, always with a plan, remembering not to trust anybody. Jackson was completely insane until Ray "disappeared," and then suddenly Jackson was sane again. (I still don't buy it, to be honest.)

(A little) justification that the changes were made in order to discredit Ray:
-a:18 is attributed to Ray, when it was actually Jackson drawing
-The majority of the descriptions for Ray's uploads sound like an insane person, when the original descriptions (as I recall) were very organized and calm
-Things referencing Jackson's disappearance only discredit Ray
-The descriptions on Jackson's videos are much more sensible and collected than they were before
-Important context is left out of videos and their descriptions

It would be easier if I just had certain parts of the story to analyze... This is a lot of information. The only thing that I can say for certain is that I still trust Ray.

I've created a blog for keeping track of each video and what is happening.

I still have much to add but I've included each entry. In the future I want to post my thoughts and opinions.

If anyone has anything to add or has seen a mistake I have made please post it here and I can include it or remove it.

Glad to see activity from someone who was here before the transition! (To be honest, I'm just glad to see some new activity in general.)

I really like what you've done with the blog. Describing the videos and archiving the descriptions is a good idea--it will make comparison much easier. I would also love to hear your opinions on the individual entries.

My main criticism is that now there are three sides of this same story, and your blog (reasonably) only shows one. I possess records of the original videos, and I believe that I might recall their descriptions and context enough to be able to piece together a decent version of events prior to Jackson's editing (I'm convinced that Jackson is responsible for the first big change). Are you interested in me trying to type something up describing the original videos?

Additionally, the blog fails to take into account the intermediate state of the channel, when Jackson was in control. I could attempt to compile a version of events from that time period also (as I have those videos archived as well), but AssassinB or drseussicide would probably be better suited to that task, as I am heavily biased against Jackson.

(As a side note, we should probably figure out names for the big changes and the various states of the channel, so that we all know what we are referring to. "The first big change" just doesn't sound that professional.)

Thanks Assassin! and thanks for the help as well.

I fixed the entry problem for 23 (big woops there) and I will add the time changes as well as mention the title changes.

I also recall before there was a lot about the story of the tall man relating to Genesis 613 in the bible, mostly with Ray conversing with the Voice on the radio submissions. What do you think? If I include this, what do you think I should put?
