I don't really know what's wrong with this series, but I don't like it. The distortion is too much, the random "I found a flash drive and I think these videos are important because plot." and just...It needs a lot of work, and a lot of fleshing out and logic.

It's...Yea. I don't see how it's SMM-related at all, tbh it seems closer to a ripoff of MDT.

Dear lord I hope this is a parody.

Also, I'm sorry, Fotzepolitic, but /really now?/. That...that kind of logic is exactly why creativity gets worse and worse. Why shouldn't you try your hardest at something if you want people to be intersted in it. Just because 'the bar has been lowered" doesn't mean you can get away with shit like this just because. I understand if maybe not everyone is a writer, but the whole "bar has been lowered so no one should bother to even try" kind of attitude is just... to be quite honest, I find it idiotic and lazy. Maybe I'm taking what you said wrong, but there really is almost excuse for not at least putting a BIT of effort into an ARG, or novel or anything. (Family or life problems aside, I mean) and "Just because every other one sucks, so I don't have to try" is most certainly NOT one of them.

Really now. And I say this as a writer and a PM (with another currently in year long pre-production), not just as some nitpicker. This is something kind of close to my heart. If you're gonna do something, do it to the best of your ability. Just...really now? "The bar has been lowered"?

Ah well, since we're here: there's a British PoV-style horror movie called The Tapes which is worth watching. I mean, it's shite, but it's pretty funny shite.
