[ABANDONED BLOG] Rage Dump
Teenage angst and inter-dimensional businessmen

Yes, I have resorted to posting my own trailhead. I'm sorry uF. Forgive me.

Plot: In addition to exams, this kid is being stalked by a paranormal entity. High school sucks.

And now, I shall leave this thread, forever.

You could have asked someone to make a thread for you, you know.

Anyway, the photos you added to the blog add a nice touch to it. They remind me of the Where's Waldo-esque photos of when the mythos first started.

Are you kidding me? The mods are always able to open threads for you. If not just PM literally ANYONE on this goddamn forum. This is dumb...this thread is going to get locked...

Sorry for re-entering the thread, but:
I did PM an admin to make the thread. Nothing happened. Maybe I was just impatient, I wanted the blog to be seen before Halloween. Timing is critical in an ARG.
MarbleHornets, TribeTwelve, and Angel's Game all essentially posted their own trailheads, two of them done in character. Threads like this don't get locked, they're just generally looked down upon, and I'm aware of that. I apologise.

If you emailed only me... then I apologize. But in my defense I am in the hurricane zone... and didn't have internet for several days.

Also, all the series you named were posted long ago, before this sub-forum had mods, and it was the Wild West in here. Past events are not precedent.

I'll let the trailhead stand, since it was partially my problem, but please stick to the rules and stay out of the thread from here on in.

....How does he just suddenly go "OMG this guy is EVIL"?

Eh, not enough buildup of atmosphere. Maybe I'm too used to first/second Gen blogs, where there was no idea who the hell this tall stalker was... seems like most of the third(?) gen on are more about "Okay, so this guy is the Slender Man but I don't know how to stop it", but there's still the buildup to "oh, okay so it's that guy."

Nevermind, for some reason the site didn't let me read the earlier posts until I found them manually... Ignore this.

I skimmed through most of this yesterday. It's an interesting premise. and the Slender Man is introduced in an interesting way.

Though, mention of the Slender game in this got me thinking: if you were to start a Slender Man series now, be it text or video, the idea would be to have it in a reality identifiable/relatable as our own. Well, we do have that Slender game, if your protagonist has access to the Internet (which they presumably do in order to upload/post videos/blog entries), they must have heard of the game, which introduces them, at least, to the idea of the Slender Man. Well, if your character is being stalked by it, then...well, you want your character to be ignorant of the creature.

Anyway, that's just something I noticed and started thinking about.

Interesting series so far. I see some story potential with the forest fire.
