I'm not trying to be difficult here, but are you all sure that it's Acheron? It could always be another one starting up. I would think that if it was Acheron that my CD would have been sent to someone who interacts more than I do. Just a thought!

Dashcat also received the cd. She had to dig it out of the garbage. Her's had the Fragile: Computer Equipment Enclosed pink sticker, but there were no hand written letters or numbers on the sticker. Enclosed taped to the inside cd pocket was the colored bar picture.

Although all the pics don't include it - and we all have to chip in and get Dia a digital camera with a resolultion better than 256k - it looks like the postmark is indeed Tampa Bay. One has the letters TAM and another has FL.

This completely solves the mystery. No need for grumpyboy to get involved.

I'm not convinced this is Acheron. If it was, who would be sending out discs? To send them out would require the character to have our real names & addresses. I know that none of the characters know me by my real name, therefore - this cannot come from one of them.

This looks more like a new game to me (but I've been known to be wrong before).

Wow, long time no post. I just received a cd myself. Definitely postmarked Tampa FL, Jan 30. The fragile sticker on the front has an "I" and a "9" printed in blue marker. My stamps are a 22 cent Uncle Sam and a 40 cent Rio Grande, Texas. The card taped to my CD appears to be identical to everyone else's.

I signed up for Acheron way back when, but I haven't been actively playing since the hiatus. Regardless, it looks like some game is afoot. Woo!

/me runs home to check the trash. I said "another damn AOL disk!!!???" and tossed it. But it came in the same folder as kona's and indeed it had a couple of stamps... I hope I haven't emptied the trash can since then.

PS I didn't play search4e, can't be that. Either it's generic people who hang out here and some good research, or it's Acheron.
