They actually are.
It was proven many times, after some our ideas or hypothesis were alluded or used in the ARGs. Or like in Cloverfield, they were hiding their tracks in real time, as we found one puppetmaster/designer and followed him (you know, Slusho advert with moose) Wink

Anyway, I wonder, if there will come something soon.

Wow I had a dream last night that I was playing a new 42E game with a profile page just like icefly yet it WAS diffrent and it was Star Trek! Have I been contacted ...lol

Since the initial app news release touched on location-based content, I'll bet there will be clues and such in major cities, if it's even related to the ARG. Keep a sharp eye, Melodyman! Smile

I have a digital version of the comic, there don't appear to be any clues hidden in the image backgrounds but I haven't gone over everything in depth yet. There are some references to the planet Organia on some of the screens, but no discernible alien text or other words/QR codes/other stuff.
If it helps, TOS Organia was a planet populated by energy beings who engineered a (rather ineffective) peace treaty between Federation and Klingons.

Hey guys! Jumping in on this one before it starts, I guess. Pretty excited to get to do a Star Trek ARG!

Kinda sucky it's looking like the ARG is tied to the app... hopefully it's like someone said before and the app is just kind of the top layer of the ARG and there's still a lot of stuff for us to explore outside of the app! I'd say if JJ has done lots of international stuff with his ARGs before, he'd continue doing it now Smile

And yes, JJ was really cool, as previous Star Trek ARG was in USA, Spain, Japan, Germany, GB full of live events and cool happenings. I very hope, it will be again here!
