Always. It's always easier to spot a gamejacker once the game starts. I'm always leery about tumblr..that's just too easy to gamejack.

I think it's safe to assume the Youtube account is legit because it's registration date matches the domain registration information. As for the other stuff...I guess we'll wait and see?

 		I'm also calling the pinterest board as a jack..purely because I can wrap my head around how you could incorporate a thing like pinterest into an ARG. I've seen boards for movies, but none for args. Tho, as always, I could be wrong.

Since we have a wee bit of time to kill, anyone wanna speculate on how this ARG will play out, story lines, etc?

If I had to guess I would say it has something to do with the genesis project. This film will definitely have some deaths that need reversing.

Dang, you are right. Maybe with Vulcan not being around, some things have changed.. either way i'm excited to see what being the 1701 is all about.

the odd resolutions of the white bg that is commented out in the source code (although the css makes the black background) draws attention and with the gif the resolutions are:

bg jpg - 20 x 800

800-556-1841? i called it and it says there number cannot be reached from my calling area. still curious odd resolution.

also, if you look at the gif image separately, there are black lines on certain sides of each letter. could be nothing, could be something.

I find it interesting that they use the phrase "are you one of the 1701" as that confirms the idea that there 1,701 people of some significance, instead of just the number of the Enterprise.

I'm going to continue searching for relevant Star Trek/Khan keywords to see if we can't skip ahead, but I doubt they'd make it that easy. Smile

OK, since I am still not really involved in the Science and History of Star Trek, I need to use some wikis (like you linked, thank you ZuP).

So according the page about Khan, he was time traveller. So if he travels from 23rd into 24th century, why not to the 21st century?

I suppose, we will get some advices, like always some random things from Craiglist or reddit. Something which haven't any sense Wink

And perhaps it will be Khan, who will travel to Earth.

I suppose, since 1970ies is the favourite theme, it could be possible they bring it in game. So we should watch out for every pre-historical hints from Star Trek from our near past and present.

UPDATE. Perhaps something OOG, but still weird about Crysalis project [LINK]. Linking to Star Trek wiki, so out of game, I suppose.
UPDATE2. I know, you know it already, but for searching in google for such things I use the search string with

It search for every page not includuing "Star Trek" as definition.
Since the ingame pages should't have any mention about Star Trek. And: Pages including any mention about Star Trek (besides in editoral and legal notices) will be supposedly Out Of Game, i.e. gamjackers. Since Gamejacker want to get easy work for us mentioning JJ Abrams, Star Trek and another meta stuff in their pages.

Khan was not a time travller. He was frozen in stasis and awakened 300+ years after he was frozen.

Also most of the info you posted is not Cannon to Star Trek Prime universe as it didn't happen on screen. Only in the JJverse is written IDW comic material considered Cannon. There are supposed to be clues in the comics for the upcoming movie and could have clues to the game there.

Hmm... If we can figure out some things about the film, it'll be easier to distinguish what's ingame and what isn't.
