Seeing where.gif resurfaced in Our Colony, I began thinking about various puzzle from days gone by. So, what puzzles have you loved? hated? loved to hate? hated to love?

Most loved puzzle: Drug Addict from Synagoga. (that helped signal the game change of pace)

We Want It.

Hee. See, I really didn't like that puzzle, partly because of that change of pace (it kind of changed from fast and steady to sluggish and ~mired) and partly because the hints were a little bizarre - they focused largely on just the one part (the "r" page), for no particular reason that I could see. The final solution was reached with some guesswork, and, afterwards, we had trouble seeing where the guessed parts came from. It was just annoying in so many ways. Although I'll grant that the Freeland "We Want Your Soul" connection was sort of neat.

I will restrain myself from mentioning MU's Oct. 1st non-puzzle. Oh, whoops. This was one that I loved to hate. After a while (a looonnnng while), it even became rather fun. "How many wacky, slightly insane, and seemingly relevant google hits can I get for 'eye see'"? Many.

See, we still <3 you, krystyn!

Yeah, the unravelling - specifically, Merovingian, the Greek hokey pokey, and the coincidental pun.

Though Merovingian definitely overlapped with the "puzzles you absolutely despised" category.

What are some other puzzles that we love to hate? Where.gif, obviously, and Greywethers, and I'd say Eliza's Tearoom as well. Any others?

Beaten Tracks. Gosh, I hated that puzzle.

The Mowz puzzle was kind of fun though.

ooo I loved Mowz.

My love to hate is the Seven Sins puzzle in Lockjaw. I love the puzzle and the concept of it. I hated that I couldn't make exactly what was in my head though.

(just a hint: there might just be a reason for this thread... so please people! start listing puzzles because, as you know, PMs are quite evil... you don't want me to be evil, do you? Twisted Evil )

Was beautiful, guys. Even from my rookie/lurker standpoint.
