Because there is nowhere near enough theorizing in this thread for my tastes, here I go:

The cartoons are definitely significant. They seem to represent Aesop's state of mind or at least events that are taking place. Might be reading too much into it, but that Fairly Odd Parents one with the shrine in the room where Timmy's locked after being scolded by Vicki? Doesn't seem like a coincidence. Especially since he was telling Christopher to upload his footage.

I think Christopher did something wrong. The cartoon in the video test right before his early notice was the kid telling that video game character to stay still. Maybe Chris disobeyed somehow?

More information needed!
