The Elite

Hmmm... In order to join the Elite, you must acquire all of the seals? But, "The Elite" is a seal. Even assuming that this apparent paradox is not real, there have been 45 theorems. 35 members have earned the "Theorem Champ" seal. No one else will. Sigh...

I will be curious (and I will check) whether I can get the "superstition" seal next month... Jan. 13th is a Friday.

Generosity?

Well, for some reason, I have now been credited with ALL the "get the seal on this day" seals (even though I joined late), so I now have 62 seals and in 74th place. Odd. Also, the Theorem Champ, even though I haven not even been close. So I guess we don't have to worry about the Day Of seals or be in the select 30+ who legitimately got the Champ seal anymore to be part of the Elite club (wonder if that failed alien game still counts as a seal?). Maybe M is being generous in going out in a blaze of glory? Or maybe it'll be corrected in a few hours and I'll wallow back in 178th place.

Um...So...

Not sure if this is a bug or whatever but I was just working on a couple of the new seals (which so far I have solved QR and Stenography) and all of a sudden it gave me all of the day seals that I didn't already have. Also it gave me the theorem champ seal. In other words all of the seals we were discussing might no longer be achievable and/or ones someone might have to actually update the page to award.

I already had a lot of seals so I'm not sure which ones it will just give you, but this seems to be the fix for the elite seal.

I might not have noticed but I suddenly shot up to 175th place on the list (a few hundred spot jump)

Since i shot up in score but not the people in front of me, it makes me think maybe you have to log in or earn a seal to trigger it.

Let me know if this holds true for you.

Hey, get this! I emailed Shaun (aka P), and he said something intriguing:

Well knowing this "about page" clue and knowing what I have already done this evening and since i have them all now, then it is quite easy to get them. I thought they were awarded automatically, but I guess I stumbled upon it.

All of these "special occasion" seals will be "satisfied" then.

OK, I'm stumped: How do you find the puzzle for Steganography? I've found just about all the other new ones (the only other one I'm missing is Worldly).

As for "Worldly", pretend you're to force-get the "Act Your Age" seal and look around a bit.

I tried dragging that escutcheon every which way, but it never occurred to me to do the even simpler thing.

I love the puzzle and the method of solving it.

Steganography

Can you give a hint how to solve this seal? I found the puzzle but have no clue how to get the solution. I've got all the other seals except for School of Athens (which I still can't find).
