Spliced shot? You talk about when you watch TV in the foreground and in the background hoody? Does it mean for you? What need to focus on another point to avoid doing in this? Not is easier not put that which does not want to show?

Same here. When I tried to see if it was a Caesar cipher, I just rotated the letters I'd assigned, and then this popped up:

Code:
B C D E F F G
D C H_I_D_E B

H D J H G D
B B D J C J

Code:
M N O P Q Q R
O N S_T_O_P M

S O U S R O
M M O U N U

Unfortunately, fiddling around with the rest of the letters didn't lead me to anything coherent. I think this is just another case of false pattern recognition.

If you assign the letters sequentially, what did you expect?

I call everyone "dude." It is not a gender-specific term. Razz

I dont mind being called dude either, just trying to be a little feminist. : p What is wrong with dudette? LOL

Also, there are no zeroes on the description code too. I still believe they are all in octal base, we need to find out what to do with the 8 and 9 tho.

Hi! First time poster Very Happy

I really don't believe the numbers are a red herring. If the ones in the description have a meaning, why not the others? I haven't found anything yet, but I believe we definitely shouldn't give up on them Wink

About the audio: I can't really tell what the voice at the beginning says, although it sounds like "the same people" or "the safe people". Anyway, I don't understand English really well, so whatever.
The rest of the audio is some kind of music – here's the audio file sped up 2x:

Does the music sound familiar to anyone?

Hey, if "Good Burger" taught me anything, it's that we're all dudes!

Listen to the lyrics: "I'm a dude, he's a dude, she's a dude, we're all dudes, hey!"

Long time lurker, 1st time poster. We're in the same boat, haha.

I tried to identify the tune using various song identification software - no results. Although it does sound like it's come straight out of a TV show...

Also, about the code, if you subtract the numbers in their pairs you would get

2 2 5 5 5 5 2
5 2 2 2 5 5 2

2 5 2 2 2 2
2 2 5 2 2 2

That's another interesting coincidence.

That's one of the first things I did. I tried some stuff with it and nothing really turned up. But I also included that some of the number if subtracted would be negative numbers so I also came up with:

-2 2 5 -5 5 5 -2
5 2 -2 -2 5 -5 -2

-2 5 -2 -2 -2 5
-2 -2 5 -2 2 -2

I'm still coming up with things to do with this though but I don't really think it will come to anything even if I think it is to interesting not to. I even tried to see if the 2 out of 5 code would be in anyway helpful, out of curiosity, and it wasn't.

As for the audio I hear "For safe keeping" when I speed run it through audacity.

Also, hey dudes.

This 2/5 thing is going to drive me crazy. I don't know how many ways I can run this into a binary converter and come up with nothing, but it's too coincidental to not be coincidental. Adding to the aggravation is that there aren't clean sets of 8.

Has anyone tried examining the numbers from top-to-bottom (or vice versa) instead of just left-to-right or backwards?

I'm no good at this decoding stuff, so i wouldn't know what to do myself - but I don't think I've seen anyone fool around with the numbers vertically yet.

I took them in descending pairs - e.g. 79 would become 78 93.
83

The first frame of numbers became this, which I rearranged to fit the original block of numbers and then paired them up.
78 93 77 55 86 38 21
73 78 23 72 27 27 49

The second became this:
67 89 87 39 58 73
65 87 27 45 85 37

It seems that even though they've been rearranged, there are still repetitive pairs. I don't know what anyone can make of this, but hopefully it's even a little bit useful!

I would laugh if the code was just put up wrong.

I'm just doing useless things at this point. I added up the number and number pairs.

79758327727224 = 72
83756813832779 = 77
688357682483 =68
797983577557 =79

79 75 83 27 72 72 24 = 432
83 75 68 13 83 27 79 = 428
68 83 57 68 24 83 = 383
79 79 83 57 75 57 = 430

That's not...even slightly helpful. But you know what? I needed to use my TI-83+ for something...

Woah, that's really weird how they add up to form pairs already in the sequence. I wonder if those particular numbers have something special about them.

This is freaking weird. I'm beginning to suspect some kind of mathematical sorcery here.

Maybe the "continue on" backwards thing in the description is supposed to be a hint about the numbers instead of a message to Jay?

Maybe instead of:

79 75 83 27 72 72 24
83 75 68 13 83 27 79

68 83 57 68 24 83
79 79 83 57 75 57

it's supposed to be

42 27 27 72 38 57 97
97 72 38 31 86 57 38

38 42 86 75 38 86
75 57 75 38 97 97

Or you'll notice the first set of numbers is in 2 rows of 14 numbers (7 pairs per row) and the second set is in 2 rows of 12 (6 pairs per row). Maybe you have to multiply, divide, add, subtract the first set by 2, 14, 28, 12, or 9 and the second set by 2, 12, 14, 24, 6, or 8 to get the answer? I'm no good at this decoding stuff so I'm just trying to throw out some random ideas that I had since y'all seem stumped.

I think TTA isn't an ally of Jay or TO. I think he's playing this whole thing, like everyone else, for himself at the end of the day. Jessica is just another pawn on the board he can use to manipulate us away from him, and Jay to feel old guilt and do something irrational. TTA got Jay to enter the forest again by stealing Brian's pills, and he got him to return to the old house in Season 1 where he was attacked by TO and Masky. Now he's gambling g hard in the third act to dupe not just Jay, but us!

TTA is a special kind of mastermind who isn't just trying to fool the hero, but the audience who he knows is watching.

The proposition itself sounds possible, but your evidence is flawed. Every time TTA has got Jay to go somewhere or do something, usually out of his comfort zone, there has been good things which have come from it, usually in finding evidence of some sort. I personally don't remember exactly what has come from your two examples, but I could 100% go back and find out. He is clearly helping Jay for one reason or another, though, that could change in an instant.

Yes, of course we noticed it, it's been stated numerous times in the previous posts, though I jumped out of my seat when I first saw it.

ieisuk wrote:
This may be a shot in the dark, but the video is called surveillance. Jay posted about a weird dream on Twitter, then TTA posts this.

That sounds a little too cheesy imo, like way too cheesy. So suddenly TTA has the power to see other peoples dreams? Definitely not.

Once again, I think everyone is demising the destruction of the TV as I brought up before. It can't be just some sort of cool visual effect, it's got meaning, probably the destruction or the loss of whatever the TV symbolizes.
