Ok, so thinking more about the primes chart I posted above (and not being a math junkie), I checked out primes 1-100. There are several primes that run through the code... but not all numbers included in the code are prime... which confuses me even more and makes me think that maybe the prime number thing is steering me in the wrong direction... yeargh! But just in case it comes in handy:

... and yes, I've noticed that we're all busy focusing on this code and the complaints about the entries have kind of diffused a little. At least it's something, right?

It's just a way to take our minds off the fact that they're taking forever with this entry

Maybe, but at least he's trying to entertain you and keep you occupied while he finishes filming and editing the new entry. During the holidays people prefer to spend time with their family rather than being an entertainment monkey for someone on the internet. :V He could just leave us hanging for another several weeks. But no, he gave us a really hard puzzle and then even gave us hints in an attempt to help us solve it.

TL;DR I feel your rage, now kindly keep it to the rage thread. :V

That's not a language thing. I am an native English speaker and I honestly don't understand it either. But I think he might mean the number pair corresponds to the same letter as the mirror of it?

Good question. My take on it was that you could read into it one of two ways:
1. Common= two of the same letter in a row (oo, tt)
2. Common= two of the most often used letters in the English language

Those are just my thoughts. And I never would have guessed you weren't a native English speaker. Good writing!

Just noticed a few of these numbers have a pattern. First digit plus two. 13, 24, 57, 68, 79 all follow it.

Troy, give us more.

I hate you Jay. Haha. "Just noticed, there's numbers at the end of the video."

So I noticed something else. While some of them are first digit + 2, the other ones kinda follow a pattern. The others are 83, 72, 27, and 75.

83 and 72 are both first digit minus 5. 27 is plus 5, being the mirror of 72, and 75 is first digit minus 2, being the mirror of 57.

So they're all either first digit plus 2, first digit minus 5, or mirrors.

Okay I admit that might mean nothing. I just thought I'd put it out there.

Abalone thank you! I study hard so Im kinda fluent now haha but its still difficult for a brazilian to speak it.
Oh thats what I imagined, its obvious these mirrored letters are special, but if he meant common as the same letters then why would each pair have multiple combinations? We'd only have 7 different letters belonging to the final answer.

No, since the video went up, Jay has posted six tweets about the numbers. Five of them have been "hints."

It was a joke on the fact that the hint was something we figured out already.

I believe MDS1138 was making a sarcastic comment. He was imagining Jay pointing something obvious out, like the existence of the numbers, as he believes Jay's most recent Tweet was rather obvious in nature.

EDIT: Oh it seems I have been ninja'd. Darn.

Hopefully he is just trying to get us to focus on it more, after it was revealed we kind of wandered off from the idea a little.....
