Ya know one of the top comments on the video now claims to have solved the code at the end, but the steps sound like they might be bullshit. It says

"Hoodie says in the end: "OUR ALLY INQUIRE?????? AT LAST. TTA (LOL)" (substitution cipher for each line independently, each pair of digits means 1 letter). The description says "continue on" (octal code, backwards) to encourage Jay."

Does that mean anything? The steps I mean, are they nonsense or do they mean something? If they mean something can someone try it. I just thought I'd point thisout.

I agree. I would think it some sarcastic joke, but the description is correct, which makes me think it's not a joke, but rather an actual attempt to trick us into thinking it's true. Sort of like a really mediocre prank.

If you think everything Jay says is the ultimate truth, then there's no reason why you should consider Morse code. Unless you think Troy is just trolling us, our code is about substitution.

What I wanna know is how he knows hoody said that and the punctuation. The capital letters without the punctuation and brackets is 26.

I think he's just assuming Hoody uploaded the video. After all, he is in the video, and Hoody has been hinted to be the uploader of various other totheark videos, probably more strongly than any other character. But then again, this guy's probably a troll, so it doesn't really have to make sense.

2:24 PM: If a pair equals one letter, there's 26 letters in total. But there's only 9 unique numbers. Could each number have multiple letters?
4:03 PM: Seems unlikely that all 26 letters of the alphabet are used, too. Just need to figure out which ones could be missing...

Which one excludes Morse code?

Each number pair gives us either a 2 or a 5 (positive or negative) . The likelihood that 2 would be the difference in numbered pairs in 16 of 26 pairs is about 1 in 8 billion. Pair that with the other ten all being 5s and the numbers are staggering. The 2s and 5s are significant in some way. TTA has used binary and morse code before. It can't be binary because there aren't enough figures to spell out anything. Is there another binary system besides morse code that I'm not aware of?

Using the 2s and 5s to make up letters fits a couple of key clues that Jay has given us and doesn't contradict any of them.
It uses the paired numbers to convey information (clue 1)
Numbers can represent multiple letters as a dot or a dash (clue 2)

The problem with the letter substitution solution is that with a single number representing multiple letters, without a key it may be unsolvable.

Morse code may not be right, but whatever the code is, it revolves around 2s and 5s.

My problem with the YOUR ARK solution is it has nothing to do with the 2 and 5. But it does make sense, YOUR ARK HER LIE. I dont see how Jay would answer it without "breaking the immersion" so I'm really curious. : P


5 is 2 upside down. The continue on message was backwards. I think it has more to do with this line of reasoning.

There aren't really ten 5s though. I mean there are, but there's only 3 different 5s, the rest are repeats. And one of the three different ones is a mirror. So really the only different 5s are 83 and 72. Which could honestly be a coincidence. Maybe it's not though. As I mentioned there are 2 different 5s, and 5 different 2s, and 5 is 2 backwards. So ya maybe it's a coincidence, maybe it's not. But it's hardly obvious.
