See, I wouldn't think so. We're agreed that the arrows symbolize the characters, & that the missing 2 represent Steph & Jeff being dead. However, Evan's arrow is not missing. That would imply to me that whatever happened to him "doesn't count."

Hey everyone! I'm another long time lurker that finally felt the impulse to put my two cents in. So hopefully I'm doing this correcectly. Just wanted to say that those arrows could be trying to surprise us. Maybe Jeff is the 2nd person that's still alive and Evan is really Havok now.

I'm wondering how death works in EMH. Jeff is dead, so is Steph. Evan went off to be killed in a brutal, bloody fashion by the Rake and 'died', but didn't die. When Alex died, Vinny lost his beard...

It's a lot to ponder on, and I wonder how summoning HABIT went. Hopefully, Vinny is still with us at least.

I don't think the Iteration Theory is a thing.

By my reckoning, Evan heals because of something to do with him being HABIT's "perfect shell." Alex seemingly revives because Slenderman can use specters of his slain victims, hence why he's "here but not really," or however that quote goes. This is also seen at one point with Jessa. Nick appears once either by a similar process, or because he's trapped outside-of-time. The "candleverse" is Corenthal's sanctuary. The references to cycles have something to do with how this seems to have been going on for decades, but don't necessarily refer to literal reincarnation.

That's just a working theory built on incomplete information, of course.

Guys, the arrows seemed to be replaced by these waves--almost like water. Remember those scenes in the hidden videos where people are trying to kill each other in water? Maybe it has something to do with it...

I don't know. This series is really confusing at times. I wish it made more sense.

Edit: This made me think to check the other places that they sometimes leave background clues on. I can't find any changes to Canyouseethewords or Wickedstickyalex.
