It also appears like that's an older shot of HABIT, since Evan's hair is a bit shorter. I wonder when in the EMH timeline this "separation" took place?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
By the looks of some recent pictures from the Shamhouse, Evan's had a haircut - that's probably all that means.

What are you up to, HABIT...?

I'm not convinced that a full on crossover is happening. The very title of the video suggests that HABIT is just being used as a convenient plot device to get the Firebrand extracted from the Collective... I think that's pretty much all the crossover we'll get.

I kind of hope so, considering that I neither follow Tribe Twelve, nor have any interest in it.

Speaking of, can someone explain to me what exactly HABIT did?

He freed a member of the "collective" a mysterious group of otherworldly beings with weird powers that inhabit human bodies and work as slaves for slenderman. The collective member he freed is called firebrand, and is actually the main character Noah from TT's future self. It's still not exactly clear why HABIT did this other than the fact that he has a beef with Slendy.

I mentioned this in the tribetwelve thread but Firebrand could possibly be the invisible camera man that HABIT is using. It would make sense, considering HABIT saved firebrand from Slendermans control.

It mtches up surprisingly well, how HABIT describes his camera man as "you things" and these collective figures who inhabit peoples bodys, etc. However the amount of planning and forthought that would go into tying these teo series so deeply... Im just not convinced this is the case.

Any word on how one is "freed," or did it just kind of happen?

Considering he works quite extensively with Slenderman, I find this turn of events rather shocking. Either they are 2 different Slendermans (what I've always said), & HABIT only has problems with the one, or HABIT has no problem fucking up Slenderman's shit one minute, & then working with him the next.

The impression I got from the 'camerman/men' is that they're pretty subservient to HABIT, almost like slaves in sense. I can't see Firebrand being like that in the slightest, even if he does 'owe' HABIT.

Agreed, especially as I can recall HABIT constantly inferring that the Cameraman was stupid and mindless and had to be told what to do and where to go.
From what we know of Firebrand he still seems to have all his brain and thinking capabilities!

I hope you're right. I decided TribeTwelve wasn't for me some time after the livestream video. This new video has only confirmed how bad it is.

Kind of inclined to agree. I am lurking that thread right now because of HABIT's appearance, & it is irritating me to a surprising degree how people obstinately refuse to see anything wrong with the one finger salute. Tone is obviously completely unimportant.

Wait...are you offended by it? Flipping someone the bird isn't cool, but this is a fictional webseries....

I don't think it ruins the tone. The tone was like that to begin with.

When you've made me feel bad for Slenderman because he looks so sad, you have not "pulled it off," & have in fact done something very, very wrong.

If you feel bad for Slender Man because he tilted his head with an unreadable gesture, you're the one to blame. I, for one, am glad they did something interesting for a change. Can't wait to see if EMH follows up too.
