He doesn't claim they belong to Slenderman until he's trying to pass him off as Evan, is what I meant. If they do, this is the smoking gun to say that HABIT & Slenderman will defy each other to get what they want.

This definitely seems to be the case from how HABIT talks about him to Jeff, but in Canyouseethewords, he usually speaks as though he seeks out Slenderman to do stuff for him. As HABIT has the emotional maturity of a spoiled 12-year-old, maybe he just sends mixed messages.

 		Sorry if I seem like a noob, thats because I'm a noob. I'm a long time lurker/ viewer, first time commenter. Any forum advice (constructive), please pm me, it would be much appreciated.
I wanted to note a point. Is it possible since the upload of the TT vid Deus Ex Mechina that HABIT is forming sort kind of "resistance" against Slenderman? He freed FireBrand sohe could assist Noah. Evan's now seemingly free of his influence and with Vinnie again. It seem's like HABIT is trying to "cut" Slendy at his plans before he can achieve them.Slendy likes to torment and cause paranoir on his victims, he also uses 'proxies'. Maybe WAKE UP wa being used to cause such paranoir on Vinnie. Slendy gave him that hard drive and was in plain sight during those events, plus Evan was seeminglg being watched by something during those events (Im also aware of the hidden cameras). HABIT was also attaccked by 'his dogs' that night. I'm thinking HABIT was a Slendy pawn for some time until he realised he could usd Evans possesion as a means of escape.
I know I probaly sound like another annoying 'speculation post', but as I said I'm a noob. Pleas forgive me.

Yes, I've noticed that. That entire scene is a whole jumble of confusing bits.

Unfortunately, though, I think that this is such a smoking gun. Why? Because of a simple question: who was controlling the people? We know it wasn't HABIT. The only other being we know about that can control people is the Slenderman.

Speculation:

I think what might have happened is the following: HABIT and the Slenderman had a falling out, probably sometime around Jeff's burning. (Not sure if before or after. I'm thinking slightly before.) Some time after that, the Slenderman sent his "dogs" to get HABIT. Later, HABIT left Evan's body (or did he?), and Evan attacked the Rake. And then we get to the current situation.

The problem I have is that, well, the Slenderman is the being that keeps people alive when they try to kill themselves. So why would the Slenderman want Evan alive, if he wanted Jeff dead? Especially when He knows that Evan is HABIT's vessel?

 		Maybe HABITs goal is to destroy, subvert, twist, or corrupt the boys whereas Slenderman wants to keep them in some kind of tortuous repetitive and hopeless loop. Whether you think that might be iteration theory or slendermans usual mind fuckery, it fits either way.

Well Slenderman did send his dogs to go after Evan while inHABITed, but that's hardly trying to kill Evan. I don't get why he didn't protect Jeff(perhaps he couldn't), but I feel like Slenderman has only really protected Vinnie seeing as to how he's been exposed to him more than the others. For what reason, I have no clue. Hopefully we get a video soon all this random speculation is driving me insane.

We actually don't. HABIT "has little to no regard for the beings he inhabits & sometimes mutilates them just for fun." It could easily have been HABIT.

Also, since we know next to nothing about these people, we can't say that they had to have been affiliated with either HABIT or Slenderman. We already know that Corenthal has some unusual abilities, for instance.

 		I'm going to guess that they summoned Habit and he killed both of them and that was the end of the story and that's why there haven't been any videos in awhile. Plus with the whole Tribe Twelve thing it would appear that he did decide to summon Habit.

 		Remember the guy with the shaved head in the "Next" video? Well, I can pretty much confirm its Alex. Go to Jeff's OOG blog, and you can see a picture of him and a few of his relatives. Alex can be seen, looking exactly the way he did in Next.

So there's a good chance that Alex might still be alive--just lost somehow.

 		I don't think there's really any controversy about that any more, people think it's Alex in general.

That's actually one of the major pieces of evidence, I feel, for the case that those people did indeed belong to Slenderman. Slenderman is the one who killed Alex, so perhaps it can use its victims in some form or another.

If memory serves, someone also got a message from Alex, posthumously, that said something to the effect of, "I'm still here, but not really."

Freaked me right the fuck out.
