Trees and thoughts and stuff-

I've been thinking about "Dead end with a pulse" lately.

It still bothers me that Vin lied about the emails. Why? Was he protecting Jeff or us from something? Did he think they were answering them? Or what?

And I'm still highly interested in Jeff's backpack. It, at least, had the notebook with Alex's drawings in them(Rake vison enhanced, no doubt) and possibly the location of the empty lot where Maryanne had forwarded her address.
I don't know if Vin's stuff(the production notebooks) ended up in Jeff's bag or not. I don't really think we have a way of finding out. Pretty sure the email is a lost cause and I don't think Vin has talked to anyone on twitter since "the property". Just the one update in December.

So, I think that leaves us to bother Habit...which I don't feel like is a viable option.

Vin acted extremely sketchy during that whole episode. His ignorance of the video Jeff was talking about (even Jeff sounded worried) and him sending Jeff to Evan's while he stayed behind...

Also, I remember that in their self defense video, Evan said Vin was left-handed. Vin was very obviously writing with his right hand in "Dead End with a Pulse".

Hmmm.... That IS interesting... the exchange in the video is kind of... strange...

Evan: ...Grab right about here, I forgot that you were left-handed.

Vince: Yeah, I know, me too.

Are there any other places where we might be able to verify handed-ness?

Nothing convincing, but he uses his left hand a lot in Corenthal Connection. I'm going to keep looking though, since a lot of that is being a camera holder
Update- He is holding the lighter in his right hand at the end. Meh

I just read the transcript for that episode, I don't see anything strange about Vince in the dialogue. I can't say anything for handedness. Maybe they're aware they've been inconsistent with that, & were lampshading it. I don't know why they'd make the Vince "character" differently-handed than the actual person, but the only other thing I can think of is that Vince was briefly inHABITed, which doesn't make any more sense.

Vince sending Jeff out alone is kind of weird, but hindsight is 20/20.

Honestly, the only issue I had with Vin from that video was the email bit. The rest I can just write off as it kinda being an awkward situation.

As far as the handedness stuff, I honestly can't think of any moment where we can check that out outside of the two instances we already know of. If it is a thing, it might be traced back to beard gate...but that in itself is evidence that something went down with Vin.
