I'd love to get involved wherever I can. My credentials... a short list, but an impressive one, as far as I'm concerned... are as follows:

--Writing--
I'm a professional writer of short fiction. I've sold four short stories. They are, in order of appearance: "Stickhead" to MudRock Fiction Journal; "That Old Sandlands Fever" to Apex Digest; "Through the Many Corridors" to Pseudopod.org; and "Come to my Arms my Beamish Boy" to Murky Depths Magazine (forthcoming). "Sandlands" was recently picked up once again for the yearly "Best of Apex" anthology. In about six months I will have my Bachelors in Creative Writing. I will be a guest this summer at Apex Day and Horrorfind Weekend. Sorry, I know it seems like I'm tooting my own proverbial horn here, but I want to hammer home that I do have legitamate credentials when it comes to creative writing.
--I can craft dialogue realistically and interact with players via IM.
--I can compose text for websites, etc.
--I can edit pre-written material. Both for grammar and style.

--Acting--
I've been acting since I was a small child, performing professionally for the first time at the age of eleven. I've acted on stage as well as in independent films. I was a film major before deciding my passion and talent were more in line with writing.
--I can lend my voice and image to IG characters (through voice-mail, video, etc.)

--Graphic Art/Film Editing--
My experience with Photoshop is admittedly limited, but I can sling pixels when I need to. I've been trained on and have limited access to the Avid digital video editing suite.

My e-mail, if anyone is interested, is warrick.5SPLATwright.edu

Hope to hear from you!

Hi! Very Happy I'm mostly a casual player in various ARGs, but I am interested in learning more about work behind the curtain. Several local puzzling games come up occasionally in my city, and I am hoping to gain some more experience so I can be of some use.

So! If anyone's looking for a volunteer who is happy to start at the bottom and learn her way up, feel free to PM me. Very Happy *added: my email, if you prefer, is MokeyRocks SPLAT Gmail DOT Com*

Mokey's experience:
-- Writing (I'm a writing instructor with an MA in creative fiction, and I've published a few small things here and there)
-- Proofreading (again, I'm a teacher)
-- Acting (mostly community experience with this -- not much professional)
-- Singing (dunno whether this is ever really needed, but I studied opera for a while, so there you go)
-- Multi-tasking and taking good notes Geek
-- Posting smilies far too often Cool

Thanks for considering me! Very Happy

*spots ring, instinctively throws in hat*

I've been loitering around the fringes of the ARG world ever since the Lost Experience began, and I'm now deeply embroiled in the mysteries of Eldritch Errors. This exposure, plus fifteen years of roleplaying game experience, have tempted me to try my hand behind the curtain.

I'm a freelance writer by day, so I'm comfortable with writing in different styles and from the POV of different characters. I have great enthusiasm for mathematics, science and history, though I'd say that my main strength is as a generalist. I can also weave stories from nothing at all, and handle any last-minute catastrophes with a certain amount of grace.

And finally, I'm Scottish, so that means an odd timezone, a different accent for those acting roles, and a bushel of superfluous U's added to every - and I mean every - post and email. What's not to like? Smile

I can be reached via PM here, or at the.illuminant BLAT googlemail.com. All offers considered!

So, anyone need anything done?

Interested in helping with any upcoming projects.

Credentials:
-Writing. I've been writing fiction for about 17 years. I've recently decided to turn it into something that I can do professionally. I tend to orient my writing around cyberpunk and dystopian themes, but I'm really looking to move beyond that stuff. I'm just looking for the right inspiration.

-Photoshop. I have about 10 years experience in photo manipulation. I wouldn't call myself a "photoshop pro", but I know my way around the tools.

-Web design. I've used Adobe ImageReady to design websites before. I avoid dealing with hard coding if I can, but I'm knowledgeable in HTML.

-Philosophy/Psychology. My passions. I love exploring and examining "the human condition", be it the physical or the metaphysical. Motivations, needs, desires, emotions, beliefs, etc. I could discuss this stuff for hours and still want more.

New, 3-episode ARG seeking Puzzle Makers, geocachers

I am completing the story arc for a new, three-episode ARG. This game will kick-off at the end of July 2007 and have three episodes that run (roughly) six weeks each.

Can you help?

*I'm looking to create puzzles similar to the lower end of what is on Perplex City, season two. (If you don't have the cards: buy the cards Exclamation )

*I would also love speakers of ALL non-english languages. Language plays a big part in this game.

*Further, I would like to talk to anyone who geocaches; esp. any PMs that have integrated geocaching in their ARGs or events.

Collaboration is key here; for PM team and for the players. My goal is to do all of this work virtually.

New to the ARG scene but not new to the concept. I think going behind the scenes on one sounds wicked.

Talents/skills:

- English/proofreading. I am the Grammar Nazi/Human Spellcheck and I promise I will never put in the wrong "hear/here" or "two/too/to" and make everyone think the character's an idiot.

- Extensive writing and RPG experience. I've been writing ever since I can remember, both poetry and prose. I've completed NaNoWriMo (for those of you who don't know, you write a 50,000 word novel in thirty days during the month of November) twice out of three years attempted. I can help on plot twists, characters, whatever. I'm good with pulling solutions out of thin air. I've been roleplaying for around seven - eight years in both tabletop and freeform online modes. I'm very good at slipping into the persona of a character and acting true to form.

- Fairly broad Photoshop experience, as well as webpage building and graphic design. I know enough html and css to build a functional, decent-looking webpage. Nothing flashy but something workable at least. A bit of art/digital painting as well, though I'm still not anywhere near professional level. Also, I have contacts that can do silly things with computers and webpages. One of my friends writes programs for fun.

- I had speech and drama classes all through high school and an additional year of drama in college. I've been told I'm a good actress.

- I dabble in photography and makeup artistry.

- I'm basically a wealth of useless information, a lot of it scientific. I study things for entertainment. Astronomy, physics (classical and quantum), chemistry, mythology, paleontology, geology, meteorology, anthropology, basically any of the sciences as well as a couple of other topics. I don't claim to be an expert in any of these fields but I can at least tell you if your science is making sense or do some effective research or be sort of a "middleman" translating the science to basic English.

If anybody wants me for some reason, I rarely check my email but it's kawaiichaos at msn dot com. You could also PM me on here, which may get you a faster response. I'm a little picky about the projects I attach myself to (I generally look for high quality stuff) but not elitist.

I don't how much time I'll have (working full time, law school at night, family with a 2nd child on the way... er...)
But I'd love to help as much as I can.

My "resume" includes - but is not limited to- :
- proofreading
- excellent photo-manipulation and other general Photoshop skills I'd call myself a Photoshop Pro.
- logo creation
- basic audio editing
- layout and graphic design
- voice-acting (can do fairly believable British, Irish and Australian)

you can contact me at sargent108 SPLAT gmail.com

I figure I may as well throw this out there, because this is something I'd love to do.

skillz:
basic photoshop (although I use GIMP) and HTML experience
I really am a good writer, once again, proper spelling/grammar, et cetera.
I've been roleplaying and writing for as long as I can remember.
I'm very good at staying in character, and given a storyline, I can stick to it.
Also, I have no qualms about phone calls, if that is how a character is to keep in touch with their players.

conz:
no car, which means limited evidence-planting opportunity (unless it is a small piece of evidence, and easily accessible from a bus route. Very Happy)
this also means that my scope of reach can go no farther than the Phoenix, AZ metro area, unless other PMs/characters wanna give me a lift. Very Happy

You can contact me at smfanno1SPLAThotmail.com on MSN, or PainfulEuphemism on AIM. Also: analogwatchSPLATgmail.com for email. yes.

Pros:

I am skilled in photoshop, both through personal expierence and classes.
I am somewhat skilled in Flash though not enough to do anything, (But I'm learning that now so maybe soon I can do something)
I am creative and original.
I know a bit of Japanese so if that ever needs to be somewhere I can help.

Cons:

I can't write or rp becuase I tend to butcher the english language through typos and grammatical errors.
I can't drive or give out personal information as I am in High School still.
I can't do Audio/Video work.

Hi Guys,

I am totally new in the field of Args and I have a lot of interest in becoming a PM Very Happy .

Ok since it is common to make a list... here it is:

Pros:
I have a moderate skill in image and audioediting.
Basic skills in HTML/Java/Flash.
I am german so I write/speak it perfectly.
I am roleplayer since 1998 and a fan fiction writer (all german).
I study 'Politics and Economy in East-Asia with focus on Japan. Due to that I can speak an write more or less in Japenese.
I am good with acting (but I can't go to USA so this will probably not count except for phone calls)
I have a lot of free time.
I live in a different timezone (Germany!)

Contras:
I live in Germany like stated above. So no possibility to go to somewhere you are.
Despite being an rpler for many years I am new to the Arg scene.
I am a native German speaker, so i'm not perfect in English. I understand everything and I am able to explain what I mean but I am NOT perfect.

Well, why not ...

I'd like to offer my services too. I'm a writer and people say dialogue is one of my stronger points, so what I'd really like to do is be the guy that manages the blog, plays the in-game characters, exchanges messages with the players, that kind of thing.

Haven't actually played that many ARG's myself, except for the cliffhanger Faith Arella/Fallen/Ocular Effect and the died out Hope Hendler/solar storms one that disappointed so many of us. Also the 4400 game where you had to pretend to develop an ability.

The above examples are also the type of ARG's I'm interested in. Nothing too sci-fish for me, nor anything too scientific. A good mystery, an adventure, a lost something that has to be tracked down, the supernatural is allowed but not necessary.
