[OOG] Marble Hornets OOG Entry Related Discussion With all of the complaints regarding not talking about OOG things relating to the entries in the main thread, I have started a thread where we talk about the OOG production/speculation talk regarding to the latest entries so we have a place to talk about this.
Let me know if this is a good idea.

This is probably a good idea since nobody is going to budge on that rule where we can't talk about OOG stuff in the entry threads
Am I going to remember to post in here though? Probably not

Well, I'm just gonna post something, & you guys can sort that out amonst yourselves:
I get that Trosephim wants to make the series accessible to people who don't use Twitter, but it just seems awkward to make an entry specifically for that reason. It really works better in Jay's pre/post entry summaries.
Which reminds me, another awkward thing, entries that either begin or end with no summary blatantly for the purposes of going "loldrama."
That said, I really did like the Entry prior to this one, a lot more than I thought I was going to. It brought Alex back into the picture, made Hoody a much more dangerous figure, & expanded on Tim's post-Operator adventures. So I don't think it's really fair to call that one "filler."

I am aware of that; but there is rarely any talk about actual OOG entry related stuff.

My theory on that subject, obviously from an OOG perspective, is that this marks the end of the Rosswood/hospital story arc and ushers in the next arc, which would take place in new locations. If that wound up being the case, it would make sense that they'd post it in video form.

Since you brought that up, and since this is an OOG thread, I mentioned how hopeful I was for new locations to Troy on Facebook, explaining that the hospital was getting old after three entries in a row.
He said that that was their reasoning as well, and admitted that they kind of milked the hospital dry.
So I guess we can look forward to seeing some new sights in upcoming entries!

Ah, that does make a lot more sense.
Though I do wonder what they'll do about the tunnel. "Return to Rosswood" arc later on in the season?

Yeah, the past few entries have confirmed basically everything about the hospital. I'd LOVE to see more of the Hoody hut area.

What I don't understand is. Why cant we have both? Tweet and entry. Why are we complaining about additional content that is not subtracting from the show and is actually adding some info? ((Jays cough is back, he is paranoid, he is probably watching something important, Tim and he are besties now, and Tim has a chest cam) all important facts leading up to 68. It was a .5 entry, so you can't expect much, I'm just happy they took the time to add content instead of just lazy tweeting us.

As the phrase goes, quality over quantity. Plus, it seems like people dramatically overstate the significance of these. For instance, we have no idea how much of that, if any, is actually going to be relevant to Entry 68.

That's still technically the proper thread for this kind of discussion.

Yeah, this thread is kinda redundant.

Actually, I'm going do something completely wild and reverse my standing from my last post.
At the time I posted, I hadn't finished reading the rest of the #67.5 thread, and I do think that some people made a good point there. It's true that not enough people use the OT thread for OOG discussion, and this thread's title is a bit more obvious about it.
I'll let it stand. Just be sure to actually use this thread, instead of just arguing elsewhere that "no one uses that thread."
(Another option is that I could just rename the generic OT season thread to make it apparent it's for OOG discussion of the series as well.)

I think when the series is wrapping up, some of the last entries will take place at the hospital and Rosswood. In particular, we'll see what's behind the operating doors that Tim was terrified of and what's on the other side of the tunnel. For now we'll see new locations as they try to gather clues about Hoody and Jessica. Expecting a return to the hotel too.
