Personally though, a shool library, preferably not a highshool, late at night would be creepy as shit. Schools that are still used are fucking scary at night Smile

Schools that aren't used ever are pretty much always creepy, and there's more chance of being caught if you sneak into a still used school at night.

There is such a thing as asking for permission. It is not easy, but possible.

Also, to add more to the list, how about an abandoned warehouse or an industrial area or something like that?
I'm a big fan of scenes like that. I think Death Note has something to do with it! Either way, abandoned locations are a win for me. In my series, I actually had Slender Man stand on a bridge in the middle of Boston. Besides a tour bus stopping and taking pictures, it was easy to do. So, yeah. I'd love to see more Slender Man in public places. Make it candid, and you could get some awesome reactions!

I personally do not think that death note has anything to do with it. I just think that an "after hours" shool is, in a teenagers/childs mind, lawless territory, which has been emptied by the people that enforce rules(the teachers) so therefore it is a no mans land in which anything can happen. But also, have you been to a shool after dark, it is just depressing, a sad enviroment, everytime I walk past a shool late at night and see a light burning I picture some poor bullied kid hiding in a closet uptil the point that the shool closes so the bullies have left or something so he can walk home in peace(maybe just my own experience) but the dun-dun-dun he runs into our fellow friend, the tall dude with a suit. Hilarity/scariness ensues.

I would say a public place that is seldom used at the hour of the filming. Graveyard, back alley, park, that sort of thing. It's a nice mix of "not safe at home" & "totally abandoned." After all, you have to go TO an abandoned building, so you're much more proactive in that situation. But I'd still say that's my 2nd preferred setting.

This.

I also second this.

Also, I would love to see more Slenderman in winter settings.

A still in use shool or bar might be cool. What if the bartender was a proxy or slenderman himself and only our protagonist can see him. Smile

Only if his name is Floyd:

Snow really fucks with continuity though. This is one of the reasons my Slvlog has been on hiatus.

It's basically a location that everyone knows, made unfamiliar somehow. Classic unheimlich territory. \m/

I like it when Slenderman is in a hotel the most. Also, I know that many people don't like this idea, but I've always been a bit fascinated with the idea of Slendy doing something that a human would do. One example is if he was the one holding the camera in a video, instead of the antagonist.

Woods

One with lots of thin trees. It is just his natural habitat and makes sense.

I'm okay with this, but it depends on what it's doing. I really don't want to see Slenderman take a shit.
