I'm honestly not creative enough to think of a good ending for MH. I really hope the boys give us something good, or else I will personally visit them and punch each of them in the stomach. Except for Tim... I don't like being destroyed by a god.

Just kidding, but I'd really be upset if the ending doesn't satisfy me.

I want an hour long special to end the series. It just seems fit.

That's the obvious part. The question is: what kind of music are they going to use?

EDIT: I know the grammar in this post is terrible. I typed it pretty rushedly on my NaturePad and right now I'm not willing to go back and fix the errors.

Since we're on the topic of Marble Hornets ending, I have a question to ask you guys and I figured I'd ask I here, since I'm not sure whether it deserves it's own thread or not.

Do you think that near the end (probably the last few entries or so), there will be some sort of mind-blowing, unexpected twist that no one saw coming that will completely turn the story around and make everything start to make sense?

For example: Tim and Jay are walking towards their car, when something falls out of Jay's bag: a hoodie and a mask. There's a few seconds of silence between the two. Jay finally says, "I can explain that -" but suddenly gets punched by Tim and the camera goes black. I know this doesn't magically explain everything, but there could be a few entries following this incident which contain several revelations that help connect the final dots. I don't know.

But something tells me that there's going to be a twist. Maybe they'll pull a Sixth Sense and reveal that Jay's been dead the whole time.

What do you guys think?

I think it's kind of inevitable there's going to be some big game changing twist towards the end of the series. This is a mystery series - after all.

The problem is that we've seen Hoody and Jay together, but there could be a third party involved who dressed as Hoody to throw Alex off who is established as being alive or involved before that reveal.

I trust Jay - God damnit - I like Jay - and I know I should be perhaps more mistrustful of him then I am, but Goddamnit I like him (and it helps that Troy is kind of gorgeous, I suppose Smile) I'd be so hurt if it was revealed he isn't the good guy determined to find out what happened at his friend/rescue Jessica type we've seen so far. (Yes, I get overally emotionally involved in my ficton, okay?!)

I can't see the series not ending on some earth shattering twist, though.

I feel like if the series ends on a twist, it would be a huge cliffhanger. I want to see some big twist/reveal like everyone else, but if it came an entry or two before the end it would have the best effect.

I think as long as they don't arrange things so that we HAVE to watch the upcoming movie to get a resolution I'll be happy.

As for the ending, I think that they'll troll us just a little. Here's what I mean: at the very end, after it's all over and they're showing the credits -you know, " starring Troy Wagner as Jay, Tim Sutton as Tim W./ The Masked Man", etc.- at the very end they'll add " and The Operator as himself". And we'll never know who it was in that damn suit.

This is how I think it will end...

Jay and Tim will plot a trap to capture Hoody. Jay tells Tim to split up and look for clues while they wait for Hoody. After some time, Hoody gets caught in the trap and at the same time, Alex reveals he is good and just backstabbing The Operator. Jay says, "The man under the hoody mask is no one other than Red Herring!" Tim and Alex laugh and go, "No it's Old Man Brian!" Brian goes "I would've gotten away with it to if it wasnt for you medelling kids!" They all laugh and Alex goes, "Hey wait, Slenderman! Where are you!" Slenderman appears and speaks for the first time, "wright here wraggy". The series ends and the credits roll!

You never know. Remember Jay passed out on the ground in Entry #71? Maybe he wasn't passed out after all... Shocked

I'm sorry, but I just woke up an hour ago after a two hour sleep and I don't know that you're trying to say.

Okay, so after watching all of MarbleHornets and Totheark every video one after the other, not watching entry blah blah this week and the next when they upload it, I have some opinions on how the events until the ending might play out.

I apologize if these opinions match someone else's or are repetitive, I am really itching to post my opinion after going on a marathon.

I am going to look at this in two ways, one way is that we have been following Jay as the Protagonist of the story, and the other is that we are following Jay as the antagonist.

Jay as the protagonist:
This is what I think is a little more likely, but you never know. From what I have seen, I have come to a conclusion that Masky/Tim and Hoody/? are definitely helping out Jay, Entry 62 might put this opinion out of whack, but I think that Masky and Hoody took Jay to make sure that he was on their side, maybe to see if he was all masky-like as well. Who is Totheark though? Well, it could possibly be Jay, I know that there is footage of him on Totheark's videos, but it's stuff from videos that he himself could've edited.

While Jay is a candidate for this, Alex is also a candidate. His relationship to Slendy is different from everyone else, which is what I am assuming Totheark's relationship would be. The video Exit may disprove this because someone is directly filming Alex, but again, it could be footage he got ahold of and edited. Slendy seems to protect him in a way and Alex seems to deliver people to Slendy in a way, Brian, Tim, the guy at the tunnel, etc. He confronts Hoody in one of the entries asking where Tim and Jay went, so maybe Tim went all rogue, but I think Alex is less likely than the next person because Hoody attacked him at the burned down hospital.

The last, and to me the most likely candidate, Jessica. I find it strange that, without any sighting of Slendy, in the entries with her and Jay at the hotel, whenever he was filming around her, the camera would distort. This, to me, could also mean a closer relationship to Slendy. Alex would've killed her too, along with Jay and Alex seems to be enemies with everyone involved with Totheark, in this case, ruling out Jay being a member of the Totheark channel. Jessica is also gone and, from a story standpoint, she is most mentioned, and it could be an interesting twist to find her to be Totheark.

Jay as the antagonist:
We could be following Jay as the antagonist, along with Tim, Hoody, and anyone else helping him. This would make Alex the true protagonist and may shed some different light on Slendy. Slendy could be protecting Alex from the true enemies. Again, this seems less likely to me, but it was worth a thought.

Things I have noticed:
Jessica causes distortion and doesn't seem to mind strange noises coming from her room.
I cannot remember which video, but in one of Totheark's videos I notice what appears to me to be Brian in the bottom left corner of the screen and his eyes becomes like glowing circles, much like other videos where they depict Hoody's eyes as glowing circles, but I could be wrong about it being Brian.

Sorry for the long post and I know it is more of an observation and not so much of a prediction about the ending, but I thought this thread would be best overall to post this.
