I recieved a letter in the mail

 		I recieved a letter in the mail
something called SQN
SQN or Sine Qua Non sent me a very interesting letter in the mail the other day. It talks about how I have been a "diligent supporter of SQN's most treasured goal:to keep religion out of politics."
They are working to prevent religious organizations from succeeding, like PACEM (Peace and cooperation through Evolving Methodologies.)
They do not have a website but PACEM does. I checked it out and the web page was started in July of this year. SQN does have an email address sqncabalSPLATgmail.com
I sent them an email and asked why I was sent this letter, they responded say that i was chosen to keep an eye on the PACEM website for any changes.
This smacks of a game to me so i thought i would ask the wonderful people here if they have any ideas if this was real or not.
One more thing the return address on the envelope was my own address if that means anything.

Started in August. I'll dig a little more. See what I can find.

These are the sites SQN wants me to join and keep an eye on for any mention of SQN and to inform them so the next step is to join pacem

 		I think you might be onto something here. Reading through his Facebook posts now. I'll watch the videos he's posted later. Reading the mission statement of the http://www.pacemblog.org/1_2_Mission.html site. It sounds, well, kind of like a cult.

Edit: Think I'll join also. I'm intrigued.

Edit edit: Well signing up had given me access to articles not visible to the public. SQN is mentioned in a couple of them.

 		Signed up, but looking around at the site, i don't know... it seems like it might be legit, idk. Just a feeling, I guess. It goes back pretty far. I'll lurk for now I guess. Maybe I'm just used to the bit more in-your-face, supernatural stuff. -shrug-

 		Received the letter (snail) as well. Didn't do anything with it as the coward I am was waiting to see if anyone else mentioned it. Shocked

I had investigated the blog and website but didn't sign up or volunteer.

Did you respond to the letter at the email addy they gave? Guess I'll brave it up and go for it.

Yes I did send an email asking why i got the letter, they sent back that they wanted me to sign up at pacem to keep an eye out for things said about SQN. Sent them a reply saying i will and i did

 		new email from SQN
sent them an email saying pacem has some post saying that SQN was responsible for the killing, and they replied back that some SQN members fall back on old ways and he would look in on it.
Thats about it for now.

it is a combination of two different things, Kossi Efoui a togolese writer who was in an uprising against the then President Eyadema Gnassingbe, who ruled with an iron fist.

So if he isnt real, then why is pacem claiming that he was killed by SQN?
