Emerson Ray has followed some of us at https://twitter.com/moonlightinto . Reading upward some of her tweets spell out the acrostic 'blogger' helping anyone to find:

Intriguing hints to unravel. The "Protected: Elsewhere: Last" PW is listed below & am posting that WordPress entry b/c it contains an email address for Emerson.

I just noticed that she followed me on twitter also..(my poor neglected twitter account)...
I'll try my hand at the PW..and see what I can come up with. Have you tried emailing her yet, A? ( btw, hiya!)
EDIT: I wonder if the three pictures somehow tie into the PWs needed?

I gotcha covered. I introduced myself as a fellow bookworm..told her I follow her on twitter...and left an open invitation to email me about anything..I'll post the results once I get a reply back..
Edit: TinEye has given me a couple of leads on the pictures..but with no luck. I've used the painters names in various forms..

Stumbled across this thread on my monthly lurk. Looks interesting! I emailed Emerson as well. And spent the last hour imputing various things into the PW field (no luck). I tried all kinds of things associated with Pisanello and then from the book "the book thief" that was quoted in the last entry.
EDIT
I got it! The PW for "David's Journal Entry #2" is...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
"gothic" -- one of the styles Pisanello was famous for painting
It seems David was concerned for Emerson's mental state. I am still waiting on an email reply.

Count me interested!
Not sure how related this is, but Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote a poem about art that contains her username ("moonlight into noon"), followed by an essay: http://classiclit.about.com/library/bl-etexts/rwemerson/bl-rwemer-essays-12.htm

Got a reply from Emerson. Nothing stands out very much, but just in case I'll post it:
Quote:
Thanks for writing. I'm amazed that so many people have contacted me after reading my blog or following me on twitter.
There is something comforting about talking to strangers. So much lack of prior baggage.
Oddly, so much of what captures my imagination in artwork is simply visual. I can be analytical when I need to be (for school or work) and I can certainly appreciate a good story as much as the next person, but overall I just like the interplay of colors and light. Especially light. I have a thing for light
Nice to meet you!

Here's the reply I've gotten so far from Emerson. There's not much to it either.
She also titled it "Plant gardens lined with lilacs sweet..." in response to my title ("hid in gleaming piles of stone") which are all quotes from the Emerson poem I mentioned earlier.
Emerson wrote:
I know how you feel, being intimidated by the real world. The world has no place for me. It's no surprise that I feel more comfortable surrounded by things that once belonged to dead people.
EDIT
Just noticed Emerson's latest post "Dark" spells an anagram

I was just going to lurk but Emerson sounds like a fun character to interact with so I thought I'd email her and ask about her brother. She mentioned in one of her first blog posts that he wrote musical compositions. I got a reply from her:
Quote:
Thanks for emailing!
David played the piano. He did a lot of different types of compositions. He said some of them were derivative. With others he liked to play around and make games out of them. He said he would hide messages in the notes. I never really understood what he meant by that.
Hope you're having a great day!
